After Dean Watson went down the mountain, Gem Atkinson went up, occasionally contacting the other team members with a walkie-talkie and asking if they had found anything.
Hiram Greenwood's team did find someone, but it was a family of mountain residents. Gem instructed them to prioritize rescuing people and to take the family to the large base camp at the foot of the mountain. Then, they searched for him based on his coordinates.
