Alicia Carlisle had been waiting down below.
She already knew from the phone call that Forsythia had adopted two children. So when she saw Audrey and Clive Hawkins, she wasn't surprised. But Clive's appearance was just too eye-catching, especially those eyes that made it hard for people to take their gaze away from him.
Alicia wanted to hug this young man as if he was a character who walked straight out of a painting.
That's what she thought, and that's what she did.
As she kissed the young man's face, he stepped back politely and avoided her. Then he put on sunglasses to cover his stunning appearance.
Alicia snapped out of her trance, quite embarrassed. She reached out her hand and said, "Hello, I'm Alicia Carlisle. You can call me Alicia or sister Alicia."
Clive Hawkins just reached out his hand, shook hers lightly, and said quietly, "Hello, Miss Alicia, I'm Clive Hawkins."
