The hospital garden.
It was early winter, and aside from the evergreens that remained lush, the garden seemed somewhat desolate.
Coral Ruby stood with her delicate face, rosy cheeks, and teary eyes, appearing utterly charming. She fervently looked at the tall and cold-looking man in front of her and trembled as she asked, "Gem, do you really not recognize me?"
The man's expression remained the same, not even glancing at her. He fixated on the direction of the VVIP ward upstairs, even if he couldn't see it, he pretended he could. He countered, "Recognize what?"
"A single day as husband and wife holds a hundred days of gratitude."
The man showed slight surprise, finally turning his head, "A single day as husband and wife?"
"Gem, half a month ago, on the night Forsythia Brown was injured, Skyway Club, Room 1808." Coral Ruby reminded him, word by word, and carefully watched the man's expression.
