Daniel Atkinson closed his eyes in distress and finally said, "Fine! I'll go ask Uncle Len."
"Good, listen and go quickly."
When Daniel Atkinson arrived at the hall, step by agonizing step, Mr. Len slammed the walnut he was playing with onto the table and asked, "What is it? No more kneeling?"
"Uncle Len."
"To think you were once the Head of the Atkinson family. Think back to how ruthlessly you punished Gem, and now look at you…"
Daniel Atkinson, with his head lowered, said, "Uncle Len, your nephew was wrong."
Mr. Len huffed and said, "Alright. Everyone come over, and let's discuss how to welcome His Excellency the President."
Ten o'clock on the dot.
The servants reported that Leo Spencer had arrived.
Leo Spencer was surely there to lead the way.
Mr. Len waved his hand and said, "Let him in."
Then, Mr. Len, twirling the walnut in his hand, said, "Let the big lady in as well."
Was this forgiving Emma Price?!
In Daniel's heart, he was mostly pleased.
