The next day.
Gem Atkinson was returning to River State, and Forsythia Brown helped him prepare his luggage.
Thinking that he wouldn't be able to see Beast for a while, Gem got up early to cradle Beast in his arms, strolling around the castle and patiently talking to him.
When Forsythia finished packing and came out, she saw the reluctant look on Gem's face. She laughed and said, "It's not like you're going away for a year or half, there's no need to be so heartbroken."
"Since Beast and I reunited, I haven't been apart from him for more than three days, except when I went to the uninhabited area," said Gem as he kissed Beast's forehead.
As if knowing that his daddy would be away for a while, Beast was exceptionally well-behaved. His bright, shiny eyes stared at Gem, blinking, and to Gem's surprise, there was also a sense of reluctance in his gaze.
"Baby, do you miss daddy?" Gem asked, resting his forehead against the little creature's.
