Chapter 5 - Lapsus pretium.

I eventually gave in to temptation, so everything got cloudy after a bottle. When I woke up again, I was in bed with Tsubaki, both of us wearing bathrobes, and I felt regret for what I've done...

"I did it - I did it - I did it - I did it!" I said, slowly lowering my voice and making a desperate anime face.

"What's the matter, Sinn? Everybody messes up; you just have to do better next time," Tsubaki spoke in my ear as she hugged me from behind, me sitting on the edge of the bed with my hands on my head.

"I used everything, all drop items while I was drunk" (AN: I gotcha, didn't I?)

"Don't worry so much, Sinn. Even if you forged it drunk, you did a good job on those items," Tsubaki said, trying to comfort me.

'I planned to use them after learning (stealing) more knowledge from books and rare items.' I thought, regretting the loss of quality that would have made up for a few days of hunting in the dungeon at least.

"But I wanted to keep them to test new techniques I would learn, Tsubaki," I said.

"Don't worry, your products are practically fourth-rate; you can sell them and buy more materials."

"Hai (ok)," I said with a sigh before pulling away from her.

"So, Tsubaki, about the rest of the subjects I should learn?"

"Let's eat first, then I'll teach you at work (forge)," she says, patting her chest, making her robe open, bringing me back to my senses, or rather, "waking me up," making Tsubaki laugh at my embarrassment.

"Let's go, now it's like we haven't showered together," while she was thinking, 'heh heh even bigger than Finn.'

"Well, it's true, so where are my clothes?"

"Your pants and armor are dirty, so we keep them in the laundry, so you can wear a blacksmith's apron while they're there anyway."

So we ate in a shop meeting room, and spent the rest of the morning while she taught me about the Family shops, etc., while I finished the Items I forged while drunk. Then I was informed about the days I could come to update my Falna and about the stores in Babel where I could sell items, in addition to the family work area where I was given a work shed.

Leaving the shop after getting my laundry done, I went to the guild to get money from the bank and magic stones and items I didn't use. I stored my clothes at home and went to check out my new shop on the middle floors of Babel.

"Hmm, better than expected," I said, observing the small forge room with an area of shelves for weapons and armor and also having a display case, much better than the apprentice blacksmiths.

'I just need an attendant because I definitely don't want to be here all day.' I thought as I tidied up the place.

I put all the weapons in the display case with a sign saying their qualities that just wouldn't look more outlandish than their appearance, and the cheap price compared to the other weapons in the area.

What proved right when:

"Hey Giunerv look at these minotaur horn double swords, they have a cool minotaur posing as if it was charge attacking drawn on them, and the sign says they're useful even for level two adventurers, and they only cost 200k a pair, that's about the price of two lighter weapons from Damascus even if those axes are from a rare drop," one of the group members looking at a pair of Dao warswords that formed a certain roaring MOBA minotaur and breaking chains when crossed in an X in the window.

'No doubt newbies who just got back from the 18th floor... They save some money and end up buying the first cool weapon they see.' I thought as I watched young adventurers staring at the window wearing more colorful armor than my RPG characters without sets on the last world...

"Pablo, this is already the fifth...WHAT? A hellhound fang naginata with a fire incantation??? and this isn't it a disposable magic sword?" a guy carrying a spear said looking at my cursed spear that only burns enemies' wounds, a failure if you think about it, but certainly shocking as no one sees a weapon like that costing only fifty grand, well actually the next permanent magic weapon it's years away despite having cursed weapons, not that I'd put up a sign that I sell cursed weapons in Babel.

While they were discussing weapons, and attracting more potential customers to the store, I was writing more signs about buying item drops and rare materials, as well as giving discounts on repairing magic items and high-quality weapons.

When the boy decided to buy the double blades, I was already putting signs in the window.

"Hey green hair, are you the shopkeeper here?" the spear user spoke with doubts.

"Yes, newbie, want something?" I spoke in a teasing tone.

"I want these double swords," he said without showing anything about being called a rookie.

"Two hundred grand and let me check your gear," he tried to say something before I pointed to the reflected sign in the window.

[When buying at a discount, need to show equipment for evaluation] ps: it's to decide if you're too dumb to use a weapon of mine.

He tried to say something before the spear user told him that this was common for mostly blacksmiths from large families.

So I went into automatic mode for the next hour when I sold all the weapons, gaining some more knowledge, money, and items, closed the shop, and went to consume my earnings in the form of mind potions, gaining some more forge knowledge that I could use. Unfortunately, I will only be able to use most of them with the blacksmith and metallurgy development skills.

Unknowingly, a legend of a green-haired kid selling enchanted 4rd grade weapons started to spread through Orario.

After that, I went to the legendary library, a friend of every transmigrator, where I gathered the basic content of everything I thought was useful at the cost of 100k in mind potions. I didn't waste time there because I knew that was not the right library to look for treasures, but to find the right one I would have to pay a lot to the greedy spirits.

Despite that, I still got some ideas on how I can get money in Orario.

Now for the main course.

Gnome's Great Library, an institution run by Gnomes that has an expensive entrance fee, is also the place where I'll get the requirements to fight for my place in this world.
