The rest of the week passed in a blur of designing and taking advantage of the amenities this amazing place had to offer. Maya's new home. It still felt like a dream.
She started taking breakfast in bed and was rather disappointed when the cheesecake ran out. Martin made up for it by making her blueberry waffles. After that, she started having slightly healthier breakfasts with the food that was available.
Maya hardly even saw Vincent. She didn't need to go looking for him either because Cassandra had a solution to any problem she could think of. They did eat dinner together most nights but, aside from that, he practically lived in the garage.
If he took advantage of the fitness center, natatorium, library, or home theater, it was whenever she wasn't there because she only bumped into him once outside of mealtimes. With such a big house (could she even call this a house?), it wasn't surprising.
