Chapter 14 - 14- Going home with him instead

As I stare out the window, waiting for Sam to come out of the gas station, my stomach drops and I let out a shriek. My door flies open, and Finn is standing there with a huge grin on his face, reaching into the vehicle towards me. "What are you doing?" I ask swatting his hands away from me.

"I'm taking you home right now!" He shouted at me.

I exhale as I glare at him, "No you're not! I'm returning home to Milo's house first!" I scream back at him trying to get him to stop trying to unlock my seatbelt and pulling me out of the car.

I hear a soft chuckle from him, "Yes, you are Naomi. You are coming with me now. You and your clothes are coming with me in my car. I don't have time for this!" he warned. I don't know what happened. I pushed him so hard that I ended up shoving him out of the door. As he landed on his ass, I slammed the door shut and locked it again.

When he stood up, he banged on the outside of the door. I knew that I had also locked Sam out. But he had the keys with him so I knew he could unlock the SUV once he came out of the building. I wasn't about to allow him to force me into his car here of all places.

Sam glares at Finn as he walks out of the gas station. I watch as Finn yells at him, and a smile slowly creeps up on Sam's face. It was almost like he was proud of me for what I did to Finn. But I got a dreadful feeling when I saw Finn whip out his phone, dial a number and then hand it over to Sam. I noticed that the smile slowly disappeared from his face. I could see the sorrow in his eyes as he stepped up to the SUV and unlocked the door. He then walks to the trunk and opens it, and begins to load the bags into Finn's car. Then I felt my door open again and Sam was looking straight into my eyes with a forced smile on his face. "I am sorry, Naomi, but you have to leave with Finn right now. Your mother and your future stepfather/father-in-law are demanding it."

"What?"

"It seems that your mother is planning to marry Mr. Grey, so she has some real pull there." He looks down as he prepares to do something. I widen my eyes as he pulls me out of the truck and into his chest.

"What? That isn't funny Sam!" I snarl at him as I hear the sound of Finn's footsteps behind me, but refuse to look at him.

"He isn't kidding Naomi, your mother and my father will be getting married after she divorces your father. Your sisters will be moving in with us as well, hopefully soon. They just filed a divorce decree." He smiled through the tone of his voice. As I slowly turned around to face him, I slumped my shoulders.

"So, I must come with you?" I ask.

As he stared directly into my eyes, he smiled even more. I gulped down some air as I listened to what he had to say. "Yes, you do. Come on, I need to get home so that we can get you settled in your room. Your mom wants to see you."

"Okay." I only got into his car because he said my mom wanted to see me, not because I gave in to him. I was desperate to talk to my mom about what was going on that I didn't know about and what he had done to me since she left. I glanced out the window as he drove down the road, the wind blowing through my hair and making it dance everywhere.

"So, what made you choose this car, Finn?" I asked him, admiring the interior of the car I was currently riding in.

"This car screamed my name when I saw it in the showroom," he replied, running his fingers along the smooth steering wheel.

I stare at him, studying the features on his face as he drives down the road. "What kind of car is this?" I ask him.

He looked over at me, locking eyes for a second, before tearing his gaze from me and putting it back onto the road in front of us. "It is a 2016 Maserati GT convertible!" he replied proudly.

I widened my eyes at him. I knew Maseratis were expensive. "Wow... how much did this car cost you?" I inquired.

He glanced at me with a smirk across his face. "Not as much as you just cost me!" he snorted.

"Wh-what does that mean?" I ask him glancing back at him. I was full of questions tonight. I was trying to make sense of everything that had happened today.

I saw his lips tighten, his brows furrow a bit. "You just don't understand, do you? My father and I paid off all the debt that you were traded for with Milo. We settled your debt, Naomi. You are a free woman. We did the same for your mother. You have officially cost me over $2,500,000 and the car is only worth about a quarter of that, so yeah... you cost me more!" he said with a knowing smile as he continued down the road. Looking back out my window of the car as he pulled up to his mansion, I wondered just how much this guy was worth. I wondered if he could afford this car and the mansion and throw money around the way that he does. Buying me back from Milo and paying for my mother made me feel so overwhelmed, and I noticed he was always so meticulously dressed.

As he put the car in park just outside a huge garage, I wondered how many cars they owned.

I heard him clear his throat, and I glanced at him in time for him to say, "Come on Naomi... I'll take you to your room and help you get settled in. Then I will take you to see your mom." He turns and climbs out of the car, opening the trunk and ordering a man to take all the bags up to my room. Then he steps forward and offers his hand. I stare at it for a minute, then glance up as he lets out a small sigh. "Trust me, Naomi, you are far safer with me than with Milo or Sam. Those two are dangerous!"

I gently placed my hand into his allowing him to help me out of the car. "Yeah, they were so dangerous that you were willing to send in your own sister, right?" I said, rolling my eyes.

He clears his throat, pulling me along as he approaches the double doors that lead into the luxurious home. "My sister has been taught how to take care of herself... she has been taught how to kill Naomi... are my assumptions correct that you have not been taught that?" he asks, stopping at the door before entering.

I took a deep breath before looking up at his face. "You're right. I have not been trained to kill or even fight off an attacker to protect myself." I hung my head, ashamed about everything my father had put me through, and wished that I had the guts to tell this guy all about it.

"That's all good... you have me to teach you!" I hear a deep voice tell me from behind me as I turn to look at the man Leo from last night standing there.

I hear a light chuckle before I see the man beside me give this new man a high five. "Naomi meet Leo. He is our security chief here and the most skilled street fighter that we have. He will protect you and get you trained in self-defense," he said with a megawatt smile.

I turn back to this Leo man and offer him my hand for a shake. "Hello Leo, it is a pleasure to meet you!" He ignores my hand and pulls me into a hug instead.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Naomi. You're very pretty," he says as he releases me from his grip.

"Leo... she is mine. I'm sure Dad told you about the contract marriage?" I hear Finn growl behind me before he grabs my wrist and pulls me back into his chest, where he wraps his arms around me as if to shield me from Leo.

"I didn't mean any harm boss, just wanted to give her a compliment. Relax, man, I am not about to try to take her from you. That would be a pointless fight." He smiles at Finn.

"I guess I will join you in your training sessions. You are not going to be my wife and be defenseless. In my line of work you need to know at least basic self-defense," he whispers as he nudges me inside the huge home.

He let go of my body but held on to my hand as we ascended the grand stairs. I followed him quietly as he took me to my room. He walks up to a door about halfway down one of the hallways. When he opens the door and ushers me inside, I couldn't help but gasp. As I opened it, staring in awe at the beautiful room in front of me.

"This is my room?" I was stunned.

"It sure is, do you like it?" I finally let go of his hand to walk around the room.

"Yes." I sat down on the bed. The walls were painted a dark grey with decorations that screamed female. I loved some of the bright colors of the room's interior decoration. It was very lovely.

"See this door here?" he asked as he walked up to the door to the side of the one we just came through. The door swings open as I bring my attention to it, revealing a huge walk-in closet already filled with clothes... He was already spoiling me and I had no idea what to say to him except for...

"Thank you."

He smiles at me, "You are welcome, all of the clothes should be in your size and style. Your mother was the one who actually ran out and got them all, and she also decorated your room. Your sisters will be just down the hall when they get here, and my room is right next door. Actually, it's just through that door there." He points to another closed door. He steps up to it and opens it, revealing a huge shared bathroom. "That door leads to my room, should you need it."

I glance at him still unsure of what to say. "Okay, thank you for telling me. We share a bathroom, huh? Do I need to worry about you peeking at me while I shower?" I ask teasingly.

"Yep, that's not a problem, isn't it? I can promise you, Naomi, I will never peek in on you showering. I am a gentleman!" he grins.

"Can you take me to see my mom now?" I ask.

"Yes... follow me," he says as he steps back out of the door into the hallway.
