[January 25th, 2011]
Pulling my jacket tighter around me I made my way down the streets of the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York.
For today is the today I have a meeting scheduled with the Nelson & Murdock law firm to discuss the contract I received from the Fantastic Four from a legal perspective.
Having called and set the appointment itself a couple of days ago.
Which May started going crazy over once Ben and I told her the details of how I even got the contract in the first place, after I returned home from my training with Yao.
Just remembering that moment I sighed.
Because ever since then May has been begging me to get some pictures with the Fantastic Four the next time I see them in person.
Not to mention Gwen is the same way in regards to me helping her meet Susan Storm.
So many requests so little time.
But it's enough I'll make things work.
Though right now first thing first.
Business.
Reaching the building where there office was located I went to it and then knocked on the door.
A few seconds after I did it was opened by none other than Karen Page.

Whose fate in this reality I hope doesn't end up the same as in the comics.
Then again if I killed Bullseye, if and when he appears, that will solve the problem of Karen's untimely death quite nicely.
Unless the universe decides to fuck her over and still make her death happen anyway.
But I'm getting ahead of myself here. I don't even know her. So why would I try and prevent her death in the first place?
Also you heard me right. I would kill Bullseye if given the chance. Like I would with numerous other villains in this universe.
Since although I'm going to be your friendly neighborbood Spiderman, it doesn't mean I'm going to be a pussy and retarted version of Spider-Man who lets dangerous people live just so they can have a chance at redemption. Which I'm sure quite a few people I encounter in fne future will never deserve.
That's why I'll put them six feet under without blinking.
Since unlike Batman from DC Comics I'm not going to inadvertently murder people by allowing scum to walk free or psychos a chance to recover and escape, just so we can do the whole stupid song and dance of battle and capture all over again.
Nope.
No fucking thank you.
Really sometimes killing is the best answer. No, sometimes it's the only answer to the question.
"Hello young man, how may I help you today?" Karen asked me.
"I'm Peter Parker. And I have an appointment today." I replied.
When I did Karen looked me up and down for a second and then simply nodded her head. "Ah yes, right this way then." She spoke.
Sounding a bit confused.
But I get why. She was probably expecting an adult. Not a teenager like me.
Though I am technically older than her combining the ages of my past and current life.
Eh, whatever.
Following behind Karen, who then closed the door behind me after I entered the office, I soon found myself in a smaller adjacent room.
Where none other than Franklin "Foggy" Nelson and his partner, Matthew "Matt" Murdock, two of the best lawyers in the Marvel universe were seated at a table. Ready and waiting for me.

"Our 11 o'clock is here." Karen said. While she ushered me into the room.
Foggy getting a look of slight surprise on his face when he saw me, while Matt remained stoic.
Even though I'm pretty sure he's feeling me out and sizing me up with his enhanced senses.
"You're the 11 o'clock?" Foggy asked me.
"Yep, that's right. Peter Benjamin Parker is my name. Nice to meet you both." I spoke.
"Our pleasure as well Mr. Parker." Matt said.
"Wait Matt, he's only a kid." Foggy said.
"Well actually Mr. Nelson I'm a teenager. Fifteen, getting ready to be sixteen here in a few months. And I understand you're surprised by my age, but I can assure you I am not here to waste anyone's time today." I explained.
I then reached into my bag and put the copy of the contract sent to me by the F4 on the table.
When I did both Karen and Foggy turned their attention to it. Meanwhile Matt placed his left hand on the table until he touched it.
"Well, that's a very big stack of papers you have Mr. Parker." Matt spoke. "Mind telling us what they're all for?"
"It's all one big legal contract sent to be by the Fantastic Four, who I am in the middle of trying to complete a business deal with that is set to earn me quite a sum of money if it pans out like I think it will." I quickly explained.
"Wait, the Fantastic Four!" Foggy exclaimed. "If you don't mind me asking how is someone your age making a business deal with them?"
"Through science." I spoke.
I then gave Matt and Foggy the cliff notes version of how my deal with the F4 came to begin in the first place.
"Now you can see why I need some legal advice." I said. "Because even though the F4 are heroes they are still people and money is very likely to exchange hands."
"We understand Mr. Parker." Matt replied. "And I don't think we'll have any issues in reviewing the contract. Will we Foggy?"
"Ah, no." Foggy easily replied. "Not at all."
"Great." I said. "So, about how long do you think you'll need to review it and get back to me?" I asked.
"Well first I have to make it so where I can read it. Then I'll have a clearer time table on how long the review will take." Matt explained. "Also I'm curious, how did you hear about our law firm?" He asked.
"Well I'm not looking for sympathy or anything but currently my family's financial situation isn't so grand. We get by and that's about it. Which is okay. But I want more for us. That's one of the reasons I'm trying to get this deal going in the first place. However if my aunt, uncle, and I took this to a bigger law firm they'd likely ask for an absorbent amount of money we simply wouldn't be able to pay, and then they might try and screw us over legally. With that in mind I started looking for law firms that would help me out with the contract review process that had a good reputation and wouldn't charge me and my family much, or anything at all. So in my search I heard about your law firm and after doing my due diligence here I am." I spoke.
Every word out of my mouth the truth.
For I did all those things.
Just to make sure Matt couldn't catch me in a lie.
Given the real reason I chose his and Foggy law firm to assist me in this matter.
"So you picked us because we're cheap." Foggy asked.
"Partially." I admitted. "And also because of what I've heard you doing for the people in the community. You're good lawyers with good hearts. A rare combination. That's why I chose this law firm Mr. Nelson." I said. "On another note I plan on starting my own company in a few years and I'll need lawyers. So if this goes well I think we might discuss further business. If during that time you all are open to the idea."
"Well let's just get through this first." Matt said.
"Yeah." Foggy added.
"Sure." I said.
With that we discussed a few more details before Karen made a copy of the contract, and I said farewell to the Nelson & Murdock law offices.
Who then got back to me a week later after they finished reviewing the contract.
Assuring me that everything was in order, and that there was no hidden traps in the document.
Once I knew for sure that was the case I signed it and took her original copy back to the Baxter Building.
Finally securing my business deal with the Fantastic Four.
Which made me so happy I web-slinged around New York for several hours.
