The day turned into night and everyone went to sleep after eating. Tired from fighting all day long most people fell asleep quite fast, Rahen was wide awake though. Whenever he tried to sleep, the image of people being cruelly killed came to his mind, preventing him from doing so.
"system, show me the unread message from the day" he said in hope to divert his mind from those thoughts.
All the messages that he had ignored during the day came forward.

"I'm nearing level 20 quite fast. I wonder if I'll get another skill. 'Talon attack' I got last time is quite useful. the skills are also leveling up at a guys pace." He thought looking at his status window.
Checking out his status Rahen chosen it and decided to do some Qi cultivation. Using the meditation mode he started cultivating.
In the Army's main tent Zaikar was going through the war reports for the day.
"We lost over 2500 soldiers, with 600 heavily injured unable to continue tomorrow. While the enemy lost 3000 soldiers and around 800 injured." He said reading the report
"The statistics are not looking that good for us. Their priests healing abilities are superior to our healers, it will become a problem in a long run. The faster we end the was the better it is for us." Quliv was also present with him remarked
"No, longer war will be more in our favour. Liyan have already been gone for more than a week, she should be returning anytime soon. We can quickly turn the war around when she returns. But lounger war will surely lead to more deaths." He replied
"Oh! And i was wondering where our little princess went during this time." Quliv had a look of understanding hearing Zaikar
"For now we should focus on saving as much of our soldiers lives as possible. Let's show them some of our cards in tomorrow's battle. I'm sure that the temple have something prepared, we need to be careful of whatever that is." Zaikar said thinking about what the enemy's plans might be
"By the way the new bird that Liyan brought was hopping around quite a lot during the day. It saved lives of 30 of our soldiers." Quliv said
"Yes I also noticed that. Just let it do whatever it wants. You should also go get some sleep now, must be tired from battle." He said before going back to read through other documents.
"Well, the small fries were not even enough for my warm-up. But i should maintain top condition for their higher ups. And you should get some rest too, what will happen if the brain of army dies due to exhaustion" She said while getting up from the chair.
"I will, soon" He said
Rahen slowly opened his eyes to see it was early morning and everyone war preparing for the battle. Having nothing else to do he looked around for some time before salivating smell of food entered his nose.
He quickly flew down from the tree he was on and landed near a group of soldiers. The one serving food awkwardly served him too. Since people had seen him with Liyan before and he also helped the earlier day, they more or less accepted him on their side. Better that Quliv who was also eating there didn't seem to be bothered with Rehan.
Everyone enjoyed the food and quickly went back to work. Rahen flew away to take a look at the enemy camp. Even though people still didn't know that he could communicate with them, rahen decided that he would initiate it if he found something that needed to be reported.
He flew over to the enemy side. Rahen had thought that the mood there would be glomour than the Army's but it didn't look like that at all. It felt like that were sure of their victory even after suffering more casualties the first day.
He could not figure out the reason for that,though. Since he had already been seen on the battlefield helping the other side, the enemy was wary against him. A few arrows were also released at him, which he barely dodged, due to which he couldn't get any closer to them.
Finding out nothing important to report, he retreated from enemy camp. Waiting for the battle to start he decide to cultivate some more.
"Some extra Qi can never be bad" he thought as he started cultivating. Even though he had accumulated some Qi during the time he had been on this planet he could always use more, especially during war where he needs to use talon attack a lot.
[ WAKE UP HOST IT IS TIME ]
system woke him up from meditation as it was time for army to take the battlefield. He opened his eyes to see the army slowly marching towards the battlefield.
Both side gathered but unlike yesterday there was no exchange of words in between. It was only a few minute staredown from both side.
Rahen was looking at the situation from above when everyone on the temple's side took out holy blood and drank it in a single gulp. Their body slowly enlarged into raging bulls following by their earthshaking advance. The soldiers lead by Quliv did the same following a battle cry.
