it's been a few minutes since Rahen started flying, he was trying to be as silent as he could so it was taking him time to cover the distance
he kept flying some more till he saw an area where trees started to get fewer and finally he could see a grassland in front of him, he remembered this place as this grassland was visible from his home or nest
"this is much better I can also get back from here quite easily " he thought and decided to proceed towards the grassland
{bang}
"what the " Rahen was startled with the sudden loud sound that echoed in forest from the grassland he was going to
"that was the second of a gunshot right but why would there be a gunshot in this forest? maybe a hunter " Rahen thought
"well let's go see " even though he was afraid of being shot himself his curiosity got the better of him and he proceeded towards the sound
{bang.. bang.}
while continuing Rahen heard 2 more gunshot sounds and stopped for a moment to rethink of what to do but soon started to continue going forward
getting more closer he could now hear voices of various animals roaring, sounds of runnings of many animals running and more importantly he could now hear voices of many humans ahead
getting this close Rahen got even more careful and continued with even more caution
"what the hell is going on here !"coming out of trees he could now see everything that was going on over there
he could see many animals attacking humans and humans who were dressed in military uniform were fighting against them
"why is the military here fighting animals ?" he was highly confused from what was going on in front of him
the fighting continued for around a hour or so when the leader of humans ordered retreat and all the military men retreated back from the grassland while Rahen continued to follow them
he was curious about what was going on there but he also had an alternate reason for following them
"maybe I can get something to eat from their camp " Rahen thought having hopes of escaping from mutation which was slowly increasing in him
Rahen continue following them till they stopped in front of an army vehicles
"set up the camp here" said the person who seemed like their leader to Rahen
following that man's order other men got to work and quickly set up a camp
Rahen continued looking at them from a distance watching them work efficiently while setting up the camps
after the camps were set up all the soldiers gathered in a place where their leader stood in front of them
"for today everyone should go and rest , I'll give you yours orders tomorrow morning " saying this that man along with 3 others went inside the biggest camp while the other soldiers also went into camps
"oh no I took too long " after them entering camps Rahen remembered that he had to return home as soon as possible
so he started flying back toward the tall cliff he could see even though he was very far away from there
He wanted to get back as soon as possible but he still had to be careful in the forest which usually becomes even more dangerous at night
"I finally reached it " he said reaching the base of the cliff after traveling for around an hour
"let's get back and see if they have returned or not " he said while flying upward towards the crack in the cliff where the nest was situated
"I made it in time ! " he said after seeing that none of his parents were present in the nest at the time
relieved that his parents were not there he proceeded and landed inside the nest
seeing that he have returned his brother came running towards him
"oh did you miss me?" Rahen said seeing his brother coming toward him
Rahen played with his brother for some time and in end gave him some remaining
food from his inventory
"if I want to know more about the situation related to military then I should reach their camp early in morning before their meeting"' he started thinking of what he should do now
" let's go to sleep for now or it would be disastrous if I don't wake early and reach the camp before their meeting" he said aand went to sleep to wake up early the next day
