"As if making me his mate is not punishment enough, we were linked together so that if anyone between us dies, the other one dies, so if you kill him, you will be killing me too," Iris explained to Noel, who was pacing around full of anger.
Iris started wondering why he was acting that way, but she did not bother to ask him what was wrong with him. She just shook her head.
"So go look for me a few soldiers so that we can go meet," Iris commanded him.
"You have got to be kidding me. I can't allow you to go to meet with Darrell, who is supposed to be your mate. You know how alphas are possessive about their mates who knows what he can do so that he can take you to be his mate we can't risk that." Noel said, and this pissed off Iris.
