Lucy was pissed off. When she got back inside, Drew instantly knew she was pissed. He ran to her side and grabbed the paper. He knew it was clear that she was holding on to her old life. Drew slowly walked away from Lucy. He punched the fridge and put a big dent in it. "I understand you're hurt, I get that, but I am here. Let me protect you, let me provide for you, let me love you dammit." Drew broke down, the tears overcame him. Lucy tried to speak. "Don't make a sound, you are so blind Lucy! You can't even see what's in front of you."
Lucy began to tear up, she knew she was in the wrong. She died, and she knew it well. "Lucy, when your ex came too, when he woke up, he learned about your death. Even so, he knew he was lying to you. Let someone change the way you see things. Please Lucy." Lucy walked over to him. "Why didn't you come before I died?" "Because, even before death you were hurting. I couldn't sway your actions like that." "Drew, I know you're hiding a secret, I can feel it in my bones. What are you not telling me?" "What am I hiding? Fine, I'm in love with you. I have been for years, but you were always with him. I watched for years as he snuck behind your back to go see her!" She hugged him, and she gave him a kiss.
"I still need one of them to suffer, I'm going to murder him." "Lucy, listen to you. You're right, this isn't you. Do what you must, I won't be here when you return." Drew ran outside and was gone before Lucy could catch him. She decided to go to the lake behind his house. When she got there, she found a rock to sit upon and gather her thoughts.
She sat there for a few hours. Drew saw her sitting there crying her eyes out. Lucy had a choice to make; she could murder the man she once loved, or let him go free while Lucy lived her new life with someone who actually cared. Drew let her sit there to think alone. He was ashamed for yelling at her, even if he didn't mean the last sentence he said to her. While Lucy thought about life choices, Drew cooked dinner and set the table. When the sun went down, Lucy came inside. She saw the lights off, she cried even more. She thought Drew had really left her.
When Lucy went to the kitchen for a blood bag, she saw the candles lit all around. Then she saw Drew across the way. "I saw you thinking at the lake, didn't want to bother you. I'm sorry for yelling earlier, but damn Lucy, I really do love you." She ran up to Drew and hugged him. She wouldn't let hi, go for a few minutes. She kissed him deeply for a moment and paused. "I think I love you too, Drew." Lucy continued kissing him. After a while, Drew pushed the dinner on the ground and threw Lucy on the table. He undressed himself and her, and began to plowed into her.
After having sex, he carried her to the bedroom. She was about to fall asleep when she heard his voice. "Lucy, I know this is unorthodox, but will you marry me?" Lucy sat up to see him kneeling on the floor. "Drew, I'm not ready for marriage, give me time to understand my feelings. Yes, I love you, but trusting people isn't my strong suit right now." "I understand babe. Really I do." The plan didn't go as expected, but he already knew she would refuse.
Drew was being rational about this. Him proposing caught her eye. She saw how much she meant to Drew. Clearly he loved her, enough to marry her. He wanted to shower her with attention and drowned her in love. "Look Drew, I love that you think I'm ready for marriage, but I need to find myself again. I'm a new person who was given a fresh start. Please don't be upset with me." "I'm not upset, I turned you into a vampire, you know, creatures of the night and all. It's a big change." Drew sat by the fireplace as he smiled upon Lucy, who finally fell asleep. He became smitten with Lucy since the change. She was very beautiful. Her hair was long and black, her eyes looked like shattered diamonds. Drew crawled into bed with his new girlfriend. He snuggled up next to her and kissed her forehead.
The next morning, Lucy woke up and made some breakfast. She wanted to learn some more about being a vampire. She heard Drew's phone going off, but he never answered. His phone went off again, so Lucy answered it. "Hello?" "Lucy is that you? It's Tommy. We have a bit of a situation and we need the both of you at the lair immediately." "Okay, I'm waking him up now. See you in a bit." "Drew, wake up, there is an emergency at the lair." "Alright, I'm awake. Grab me a shirt from the middle drawer." Lucy did as he asked. The two of them ate their breakfast and headed towards the lair.
When they arrived, they saw Tommy sitting outside. "Hey Tommy, what's going on," Drew asked. "Come inside to find out." They all entered the lair. "Bo? You've returned? What happened on your journey?" Drew noticed the blood dripping from his side. "There's a dragon nearby, I had to warn you before it headed this way." Drew looked at Lucy and Sarah. They were in shock, how could there be a dragon here? That's when everyone heard it, the crashing sound that came from outside.
They walked outside and saw the massive dragon flying overhead. "Down to the cellar, NOW!" Tommy had screamed. When down in the cellar they each found a weapon. "Lucy, stay here. You don't have much training. I will be right back down, as soon as we can kill this monster." "Drew, no. What if you die, I'm just getting to trust again." "Lucy, I vow to come back. Then we will take a trip out of the country." "Fine, I love you Drew." "I love you too, Lucy." Drew disappeared into the light. Lucy was terrified at the thought of never seeing Drew again. After what seemed like a few hours, Lucy no longer heard fighting. She came out of the cellar to check. She spotted the dragon dead on the ground, and saw everyone gathered around in a circle.
She reached the circle to find out that Drew was killed by the killer dragon. "No, Drew! You promised to come back to me. I knew better than to let you leave me down there!" She was crying as hard as she could. Sarah and Tommy crowded her and hugged her. They knew most of all what it was like to lose someone you love. Lucy was once again broken by falling in love. Sarah walked her back into the lair, but Lucy was in shock. "Here, drink this. It will calm your nerves." Lucy downed the glass of whiskey. She was unfazed. "You can stay with me if you'd like? I know seeing his house would probably hurt more than expected." "Thanks for offering, I can handle this on my own."
Lucy decided to get up and walk home. In the process, she decided to be everyone's worst nightmare. She devoured everyone she saw. She officially gave up hope for herself. She made it back to his house. She doused the house in gasoline and burned the house down. She did what she felt was right. She walked for hours killing people in her path. Lucy heard his voice from across the street in an empty parking lot. "Erika, I love you. I will see you when I get home." She heard her ex. She used her vampire speed to bite into his clavicle. He never made it home that night.
Lucy made it back to her side of the tracks where she saw Tommy. Lucy had an idea, and she was going t to implement it. She went and bought a dress from the store that was stunning. It was short and silky, it was red and black with a corset in the back. There's no way Tommy could refuse. She fixed her hair and makeup before finding Tommy once more. She tracked him from his voice. Tommy was scruffy, yet buff. His abs showed through any shirt he wore. Of course Lucy wasn't looking for love, but for fun.
Lucy walked up to Tommy. "Lucy, is that you?" He finished sipping his whiskey on rocks. Lucy giggled as she walked up to him and hugged him. "What's the matter? Can't speak?" "Damn Lucy, you're so fucking hot. Now I see why everyone is so hooked on ya." "Well then, how about we have some fun?" "Hell yeah." Lucy and Tommy walked into his house and shared a bottle of bourbon. "Hey Luce, where did you run off too? We were all worried about you?" "Ah, don't you worry about me love. I have things handled." Tommy smiled. The lights hit Lucy just right, and Tommy felt the wave of liquor hitting him just right. Lucy got closer to Tommy and kissed him. He laid her down, and had his way with her. He brought her to his bedroom.
"You know Lucy, I don't think Drew would be very happy with me." "Screw hm, he's dead." Tommy chucked as he kissed her again. Lucy promised herself that she would never fall in love again. The next morning Tommy heard a knock on the door. "Sarah, it's too early for this shit." "I need your help with Lucy. She destroyed the entire city, and she killed her ex." "What do you mean?" "She burned Drew's house down last night." "Shit." Lucy walked out wearing his t shirt from the night before. "You slept with her last night?" "She's smoking hot!" Lucy and Tommy laughed. Sarah walked away with tears rolling down her eyes. Sarah fell in love with Tommy, but he wanted someone else.
