"Have you ever wondered what it would feel like? Living a normal life?" Kat asked
Simi settled on the edge of the swimming pool, her legs in the pool as she sighed in relief.
"What do you mean by normal life? Our life is pretty normal" Simi asked
Kat exhaled
"I mean life without missions and all this achievement board. We've been in the academy all our lives. Ever since kindergarten" Kat said, swaying around in the water.
"What does it feel like to go to school like every other kid? To go for sleepovers? Have your first kiss….without having to do it because it's some mission we have to deal with" Kat sighed
"Why did you join the agency?" Simi asked
"Cause my mum did when she was younger. I wanted to make her proud" Kat smiled
"What about you?"
Simi exhaled
"I didn't have any plan for my life. Why not dedicate it to something worthwhile? Like saving lives and wearing all these cool suits and jackets" Simi smiled.
Kat laughed
