I just hope all this that my friend is saying are all true because it hasn't been easy; because I abandoned my date scheduled for today just to accompany him ,because me I no dey like stress at all .
But come to think of it accompanying him to Mexico is not a bad idea and this is also my first time going there. while I was still thinking, I heard someone talking to me ; looking up I see a air hostess carrying a troll with snacks in it. " Do you care for some snacks sir" she asked. " Yes," I replied and collected the snacks and ate .
After some time it was announced that we have arrived in Mexico. I turned around to look for my friend; I saw him looking outside the window and I could see the happiness in his face as they announced that we have arrived in Mexico. finally now we have arrived; I can't wait to see his wife and children, but the problem is I just hope they will believe his story.
After the aeroplane landed, everyone went out to get their luggages, after getting my luggages; I went to meet Chinedu . "So bro, you remember the place" I asked. " Yeah" said Chinedu .
We both went outside the airport and then booked a cab. "Where we dey go" I asked Chinedu. *Chinedu tells the driver the location, then we both entered the car and left.*
While we were inside the car, I was busy admiring the beautiful places we drove past ; wow it's really a beautiful country . it didn't reach up to an hour we finally arrived at our destination, as expected my friend; Chinedu quickly opened the car and ran out; I couldn't even help but laugh, I quickly took out my luggages and paid the taxi man and followed him.
We arrived at a house and it was written for sale, I saw how he looked at the house and was sad. "Wetin happen? " I asked. "They're not here and the house is sold" said Chinedu. Nawa oo after arriving here, I come dey here I come dey hear another story. Then he went to the shop keeper and I followed him and I heard him ask " Excuse me Ma, but please do you know Ms Melody and she has four children; they were the former person's that lived in that house" said Chinedu. "Oh yes , I remember her, such a kind woman, but she once had an irresponsible husband, he didn't even care about his family, he just abandoned them and no one knows where he is, things got bad for them so they left the country" said the shop keeper.
So my friend Chinedu was actually saying the truth, wow, I thought things like this could only be see in the movies.
then I heard him ask her. " But please Ma do you know where they went to?" asked Chinedu. "No , I don't , am sorry" said the shop keeper. "Ok, thank you Ma" said Chinedu.
I really felt for him; he didn't look happy judging from his expression. "So what are we going to do now" I asked. " Let's go back home" said Chinedu. "For wetin? let's go back home next tomorrow abeg , but first of all let's find a hotel to stay" I said. "do whatever you want chibuzour" said Chinedu.
I could feel he wasn't in a good mood; so I stopped a taxi and told the taxi to take us to the nearest hotel and then we both entered the taxi and left.
