Chapter 8 - Ch7

With Father Agustin on the floor and a hunky kid full-on attacking the door, who wouldn't look to see what's going on? So except for the few girls admiring Eliot's legs, everyone saw how a blinky little artefact fell out of Father Agustin's pocket and bounced on the floor into a corner. It looked valuable, very valuable. Some children rushed to grab the blinky little thing but was stopped in their tracks with Eliot's warnings.

"My payment was everything in this room and that included Father Agustin."

The girl glanced back at the other children and again at the necklace now in her hands and begrudgingly chucked it in Eliot's direction. Eliot caught and examined it. It looked exactly the same as his mother's necklace. The very necklace he gave Brennan this evening. The only difference was certain patterns seemed a bit shifted. However, if there was one thing that Eliot did not take to mind at all, it was matters to do with his mother. So Eliot just nonchalantly stuck it in his pocket. His mother probably just bought it at a pawn shop or something. The children finally succeeded in carrying Father Agustin away after calming down the giant kid attacking the door.

Now all that was left was the perverted girls drooling over his legs. Thankfully, as soon as Lily sensed something was wrong, she returned with haste. What she found was indeed a bunch of perverted children drooling over Eliot's legs. Who could blame them? Eliot had the perfect cute boy legs. Ones you can only find in your mind. The proportions, the length, the girth. It was just too perfect. They were no doubt drooling material. But Lily made a promise with herself. And a promise she will keep.

Like a gorilla, she bounced between the drooling girls and a... boy? No, it was just Hailey. She viciously knocked over every single person near Eliot, including Eliot, who fell to the floor with a thump, back first and just in time for Brennan to see the whole ordeal. Brennan just stood there shocked, quivering in place while Lily quickly finished the girls off, catching their spit as they fell, afraid that it might land on Eliot's legs.

There was silence. You could hear the softest sounds of creaking from another room's window rattling to a slight breeze. You could hear the faintest little feet of a mouse scurrying further down the hall. You could feel little vibrating tremors in the ground as the children that Lily stomped on in the hall tried to sneak away in the commotion. And in the silence, Lily stood in the middle of a ring of children that were still shocked to find themselves on the floor. She took long deep breaths in and long deep breaths out.

The one who first broke the silence was Brennan, who was silently quivering in place. A teardrop fell from his cheeks. It made its way down to the floor and exploded on the floor tiles, shedding its wet mass to dozens of directions. It made a loud splash that echoed through the silence, signalling the waterfall to come.

"I'M A FAILURE!"

Brennan stormed out of the room with streams of water tumbling down his cheeks. The groans and moans of the children joined together like a chorus of pain and suffering—some children clutching various parts of their bodies, where Lily tackled them. Eliot sighed. His back was so freaking sore. He couldn't believe how many times he's fallen today. Once in the tavern. Twice in this room. He didn't even count the number of times he *tripped* while robbing a few thugs. Not to mention that during his struggle for his virginity with Father Agustin, his head was squashed into the bed at least twice. However, he wasn't sure if it counted as a 'fall'. But you get the point, Eliot smelled the floor a lot today.

Lily, on the other hand, couldn't feel more accomplished than she was feeling right now. She successfully protected Eliot's innocence and fended off the hordes of perverted children. She felt great. So great in fact, that she didn't even see Hailey slowly crawling to her. If she did notice however, she would have noticed the terrible state Hailey was in. Blood leaked from her mouth, and her eyes were screaming old crazy woman. How she pulled off that look at age 14, will stay a mystery. She slowly crawled her way to Lily like a slug, grunting every now and then, sounding like a troll.

Then suddenly, as Lily was still embracing this new self-esteem booster, which she did not need, Hailey grabbed Lily's leg with a sudden jerk of her hand. Like a mousetrap, her hands snapped closed, capturing Lily's ankle. Lily, of course, was frightened. A troll appearing out of nowhere yanked at her ankle. First, she tried fending it off with her signature move. The stomp. But it failed. No matter how much Lily stomped at the thing, she refused to let go. In fact, with every stomp, Hailey just looked more frightening. She was sticking to her like glue. Lily felt the creeps. All the confidence she had in her combat skills seemed to have slipped away from right under her nose.

It was at this moment that Haily looked up directly, locking eyes with Lily. Hailey cackled and grinned with a perverted blush.

"Lily"

By now, Lily was freaking out, sweating buckets, but she didn't dare to lose her arrogant posture, afraid that Eliot might think she was scared sh*tless. She recalled everything she knew about ghosts. But it was useless; she couldn't even conjure up a method of avoiding them, what to say about dealing with them. Lily froze up as Hailey crawled up her legs. Hailey's grin grew bigger and bigger with every crawl and her nose started bleeding as she descended up Lily's knees.

"Lily"

Lily gulped as she swallowed down her pounding heart. Her knees started shaking and her eyes didn't move away from Hailey crawling up her legs.

"Lily"

For the third time, as Hayley said Lily, the actual Lily was growing impatient. She's been shaking in her boots for a while now, but nothing seems to be happening. Hailey was just slowly crawling up her legs.

"Li..."

"WHAT!?"

Finally, as Hailey tried muttering her name again, Lily snapped.

"Say it quickly! If you have nothing to say then just shut up! Look at you wasting my time. And get your filthy hands off my legs."

As scared as she was, nothing could possibly beat her impatient rages.

Hailey, on the other hand, took one last crawl before she paused and blushed in embarrassment. She then stood up and cleared her voice.

"Ahem. Sorry for my rude behaviour."

Lily glared Hailey down.

"And?"

Hailey glanced around before whispering something in Lily's ears. Like a pack of hiënas, every single girl in a 50-meter radius head perked up. Lily's nose started to bleed. She nodded now and then as Hailey continued to whisper in her ear. There was a moment of silence as Lily entered a deep thought, seemingly contemplating something.

Suddenly Lily bashed her chest. She held her fist on her heart as a sequence of strange words exited her mouth.

"As the head of Elks, the Eliot's Legs Kink Society, I hereby appoint you as the vice-head. Welcome to Elks. You will be given a list of the guidelines within the hour. Please remember and respect our deal."

Shrieks echoed through the orphanage. One belonged to an elated Hailey, while the rest belonged to every girl in a 50-mile radius.

Lily turned to the stunned girls down the hall.

"Today, the Elks are going public. Since everyone here has seen Eliot's legs, it is pointless to stay secret. Therefore from today on forth, we accept recruitments. Please go to the main hall to apply for an application."

Like thunder, the sound of heavy footsteps for the third time echoed through the hallway. And for a second time, a horde of children stormed down the hallway. Though this hoard was a little bit more aggressive and louder. The girls pulled each other's hair and grabbed onto what they could while screaming all the way.

Eliot was fed up with these kids, stood up and pushed Lily and Hailey out the door with a shove and smashed the door shut behind them, locking it.

"Bro? Big Bro?"

Lily looked like an abandoned puppy as she called out for Eliot's name.

What a pointless waste of time. Eliot strode back to the bathtub for the third time and climbed in. He was dirty, tired and had a bad day. He also had to hastily prepare for tomorrow and still make time to watch Father Agustin's execution. As of now, Father Agustin is probably being tortured in turns by those brave enough.

Quickly Eliot rid himself of the red blood dyeing his hair and washed his face, cheeks specifically, and groaned as he washed his sore back. Eliot looked at his hair once again. Should he cut it? Should he just not bother with the effort and keep the wig? Didn't his mother have long hair like this as well? Was that weird? Since he was brought to the orphanage, he never really had to think about cutting his hair since he didn't care for the first part, and later, he grew it out on purpose for the whole Father Agustin's mommy issues ordeal.

Eliot sighed. He didn't have the energy to cut it today, besides that 'famous figure' is coming to pick him up tomorrow and he needed to say bye to a few people. Why not leave with a bang? He had nothing to hide anymore, and it's not like it looked that bad. It wasn't something to have for anything professional or hard labour work, but it wasn't like Eliot would be cleaning anything tomorrow. In fact, it's the opposite, since he is leaving, he might as well leave with style.

Eliot dried himself off with a towel, jumped in bed and took a f*cking well-deserved nap. The other kids would wake him if necessary, should the staff return soon. 20 children were already taking shifts outside on the lookout for any intruding adults while the rest were celebrating their final time together, bragging of their bright beautiful future ahead. A lot of them with big aspirations and the ones planning to jump towns will all probably start their journey before the sun has had the chance to even rise. Everyone was already prepared to receive the staff with rocks and pure violence once the police let them return, and Father Agustin will be thrown to the cannibals outside. Eliot's sure they will love the big plumpy semi-cooked gift that is Father Agustin.

With a loud mind, Eliot fell asleep, not hearing Father Agustin's screams.

Eliot woke up to the sun streaming through the window. It was a pleasant feeling, but that feeling was quickly overtaken by shock. Why on Ruth is it daytime? Where was everyone? Holy moly guacamole! What the hell happened?
