Chen Tian in his head could only think 'Is my son actually a genius at handling weapons!?'
"Chen Mu if you want to learn martial arts come to the training grounds tomorrow at 6 am."
Chen Mu with a smile on his face humbly replied "Ok father I'll be there tomorrow and not a second late."
After that they separated to attend to their own things.
Now as Chen Mu gets to his room he hears a 'ding' in his head.
[Host has learned 100 different Dao's and has unlocked a new system function]
A system prompt popped up and hovered infront of Chen Mu with 'system function unlocked' on the screen.
Chen Mu clicked the screen and then popped up a new and different panel than the 'status window'. On the top of the screen it said 'Book of Daos' in bold yellow text.
And at the too right corner was two tiny boxes with one saying 'status' and the other saying 'book of daos' next to eachother. The 'book of daos' was in a lighter shade than the 'status' on the right which was in a darker shade.
Chen Mu who was curious clicked the 'status' box and the whole screen changed. The screen showed the status window that had all of Chen Mu's stats.
Chen Mu then clicked back to the 'Book of Daos' and the screen changed back to what it was originally.
Chen Mu saw a description under the title of the screen and read it.
[Book of Dao(s) is the list of paths of life that the user has gone down. Every path that the user takes will be recorded down in the Book of Dao(s).]
(The increase system cannot be used to affect anything on this screen.)
Chen Mu looked down more and saw a bunch of words and was familiar each of the words. The words were the weapons that Chen Mu had just used.

Chen Mu looked through the 100 Dao's and had many thoughts rushing through his head. Joy was all he felt at seeing all the words.
'Isn't 'Dao' part of those cultivation novels? Doesn't this mean that cultivation is real! Wait that means I can cultivate immortality! And If I cultivate i can be immortal and invincible then I can go beyond the level of a mortal!"
Chen Mu had enlightening thoughts about the expansion of his world view and finding out that cultivation is real! But he had one realization.
'Hold on my status window never showed anything about cultivating or immortality till now. Does that mean I can't cultivate? Does that mean I'm a…Trash!' A ton of bricks just hit Chen Mu, he now knows that he's just a trash when it comes to cultivating.
Though Chen Mu is depressed at not being able to cultivate he did remember some tropes in those novels.
He remembered that those cultivation novel MC's had ungodly and making the heavens jealous luck. And with their luck those MC's always got the best spiritual roots or some kind of heaven defying aptitude by stumbling upon an immortal fairy.
So Chen Mu came to the idea of increasing his luck after he increased his talent so he could cultivate. He also realized that he needed a cultivation manual so he could cultivate efficiently.
Chen Mu after his thoughts of optimism came out of depression and was even more excited for the future. The only thing he needed was time and he could become unparalleled!
'With the system and just its base abilities I can become the most powerful and be better than any of those MC's from those novels!' Chen Mu affirmed his heart and his goal with the safety and backing of the system.

Minutes before midnight Chen Mu is looking at the system screen and checking through all the Dao's he's learned.
He became the most intrigued and surprised at his 'Reincarnation Dao'. He realized that he could learn Dao's by experiencing them but also needing to be aware of what it is.
He learned it worked like that when he did some actions like push-ups and making his bed. And after that he gained the 'Strength Dao' and the 'Folding dao'.
Chen Mu had then continued to watch his status and wait for his talent to increase.
As midnight hit he saw his talent of 100 go to 101.
Chen Mu could only smile at this. His patience of waiting 10,000 days had payed off and his talent is now increasing.

The next day at the training grounds you could hear the grunts of training as well as the sound of metal clashing.
As you look closer you see a young boy with a cute face that had a look of matureness on it clashing swords with a man that looked similar to the boy but had a handsome appearance instead.
Chen Tian had begun to teach Chen Mu sword arts and a higher level of hand to hand combat than Chen Mu's basic understanding of what he was taught before.
Chen Mu was showing great talent in the sword and kept improving at incredible rate after ever swing and parry he did.
The two were using real swords as to make Chen Mu feel the danger of a fight.
The spar was one-sided since Chen Tian was a grandmaster level martial artist even if he was holding back at incredible amount. The level of a grandmaster wasn't something the ten year old Chen Mu could compare to.
At the end of the spar Chen Mu could feel that he was incredibly close to becoming a proficient martial artist. It was great feeling to him that after one spar he felt so much growth compared to before where he struggled to get to his level.
Chen Mu predicted that after a few days of practice he'd get to the proficient martial artist level.
As Chen Mu and Chen Tian took their break between sparring, Chen Tian started to talk about Philosophy.
"Chen Mu I want you to listen. In this world there is no such thing as absolute or perfection. But we martial artist seek these properties and hope to achieve them. Every day we martial artist train and hone our skills to achieve perfection. It's a contradictoral way of thinking but it is the meaning of this world. But also as martial artists we go on the road of power to achieve perfection and absoluteness. But the power of martial artists is just one way. The meaning of power is to control, and that is the way of a martial artist. It is to control our fates and lives with power. And that is the same as others that aren't martial artists. Some use power over people to reach perfection and others their wisdom. Chen Mu in this world and path of martial arts you should strive your best to reach perfection and go on the road of power! That is the only way to live your life and to achieve your dreams! Power comes in every shape and form, so harness any power that comes your way! But you should know that power that isn't yours has consequences. So you should strive to achieve power on your own. Anyway sorry to ramble this stuff to you, I just wish the best for you in your life."
With a good chuckle Chen Tian stood back up to spar again. Leaving the awe inspired Chen Mu pondering to himself.
'So I should go on the route of power to achieve immortality and invincibility?'
