As Vivian hugged Xavier before then, she noticed his wound.
" You're hurt!" Vivian said as she healed him.
" While on my way home, a group of bandits attacked me. The leader was crazy strong."
" Did you see their faces?"
" Yeah."
" I'm a pretty good drawing so I can help you send out wanted papers. Bandits strong like that have been too troublesome to everyone deserve their place in a cell."
" I can understand why they had no choice since Krosphia was a poor place," Xavier said as Vivian was healing his wound.
" There."
" You didn't tell me the baby's name."
" That's because we wanted you to see him before giving him a name."
Xavier walked inside the house and as kept walking, he saw the baby in the crib. As Xavier looked over the baby as he slept, he was reminded of Andrew.
" Got any name choices? He looks so much like you." Vivian asked.
" What about Xandyr?" Xavier looked at Vivian as he made this name choice.
" It's perfect." Vivian smiled as she hugged Xavier.
' He looks like a Xandyr. Hopefully, he doesn't end up like the spoilt Xandyr I know in my previous.' Xavier thought.' No, he will not after all he's both my brother and Vivian's son.'
Xavier walked outside to his study tree not wanting to disturb Xandyr.' Come on, where my grimoire!' The moment he thought of it, the grimoire appeared floating next to him.' Right there it is.' Xavier grabbed the grimoire from the air and placed it on his lap. He wanted to practice some spells. As Xavier looked through the book, he saw an electro spell. Xavier studied the spell's incantation and was now ready to learn it. This would be the first time he ever used electro magic. Xavier got up from the tree and aimed one of his palms at the sky. Xavier then tried imagining a purple lightning strike.
" Strike those before me, Raiden's strike," Xavier said the incantation for the spell.
The sky turned grey almost like there was a storm and light flashed in the sky then a huge bolt of purple lightning hit the ground flashing everything before it. Xavier watched from far, it was a strong spell for it affected a wide area. While Xavier thought it was one strike as he looked around it flashed in multiple places from different directions. If he had proper control he would be able to control all the strikes and not just one.
" Awesome." He looked at his palm.
Xavier then immediately rushed back to the book. He then went back to do another electro spell.
" Thunderbolt!" He shouted.
As he held his palm out, he felt something flowing from his mana core to his palm. A blast of electricity blasted out of his palm. It went on and on as it was still shooting out of his hand. It was kinda like a laser. Xavier had no control over it. He then held out both palms then the bolt of electricity became bigger and more effective. It shot out his palms like a blast. As it kept going on and on. It was a blue bolt of electricity. The spell soon ran out.' Electric spells are so hard to control.' Xavier thought as he panted. Xavier looked up to the sky with his body laying down. There were many strong electric magic spells except Xavier had no control over the spells but it was amazing how he could still summon lightning jolts and lightning strikes at his age. It wouldn't be long until he leaves to become an adventurer then a student at the magic academy. He would miss his family very much but he had to get stronger, at least that's what he thought. Xavier then decided to look through more electro spells.' Lightning Cloak? A spell that amplifies the caster's body with electricity which results in higher durability and agility. A pretty strong spell.' On the grimoire, the drawing of the spell looked like someone with electricity flashing against their body. The spell could also zap someone with just a touch however, Xavier didn't think of that possibility perhaps he was too focused on how cool the spell looked.
" This sucks." Xavier sighed.
He had reached his current casting limit set by Baron which was, that he could only cast two spells of an element he didn't learn. Not to mention it was getting dark for it was sunset. Xavier lay down and looked at the sky. It looked like the sun was pure orange as the skies were blue and the clouds were orange. It looked like a huge pattern in the sky rather than the sun. It was a beautiful sunset indeed, in fact, the best one Xavier saw so far. Xavier had finally got back to his family.
" Even though I nearly died, I feel like this day was memorable and good. It also reminded me of how weak I am. I wonder how Baron and Katherine are doing, speaking of Katherine, I didn't eat her sweets yet did I?" Xavier said what he thought in his mind." My goal as an adventurer is to hit S rank since I couldn't hit SS rank anyway then my goal as a mage is to hit the strongest Archmage." Xavier held his small fists in the sky as he thought this.
In Xavier's past life, his life belonged to his parents. He could only provide and care for them, and not himself. He simply lived his whole life for others even his goals were for others; it was a stressful and regretful life. This time, he vowed to live his life his way and by his own ambitions no matter how hard it was. This time he would live right. As Xavier walked inside, he heard something. He checked the Xandyr's crib but he wasn't there. As Xavier walked outside, he saw Xandyr eating something. Perhaps Vivian placed him on the ground while she was doing something and besides he didn't have any teeth.
As Xavier got closer to see what he was doing, he saw Xandyr sucking one of Ceasar's leaves.
" Caesarrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" Tears rushed down Xavier's face as he screamed loudly. It was a heartbreaking sight.
