Finn, Lee, and Jake are currently walking on the snow of the ice kingdom, Finn was bored so he suggested going to snow slide here, Jake agreed cuz it's hot in the House due to lava-man being angry with Finn for throwing water at him and calling him a Jerk, Finn did all of that because lava-man was dissing on his Hat, so he stayed near their house as revenge.
Jake and Finn built a ski slider (horrible looking, as if it's gonna crash any second) with Lee's helping them, he provided nails and a hammer for them while they got wood from near the ice kingdom borders, in between the ice kingdom and fire kingdom there is a warm land where plant life can be found, Jake expanded and got some wood.

Lee had to bring a lot of nails because Finn kept screwing them up.
Finn and Jake are already used to Lee getting stuff out of nowhere, it must be Magic is what Jake thought while Finn was hammering on the nails with too much force.

10 minutes later Finn is done building his shitty slide and the Trio head directly towards a high mountain to start sliding down.
They start sliding while screaming "woohoo", Lee, on the other hand, was having a rough time as he does not know how to slide but after 1 minute of suffering and getting mocked by Finn for being slow he hears something that makes him smile evilly.

They slide and Lee sees Jake passing by him, he was hitting his legs to the snow increasing his speed as well like a ship engine, they were going fast so Lee felt challenged by Finn's smug face that screams " suck it, sucker!" and sped up as well.
Lee passed by an Iceclops {creature made from snow by ice king magic to protect the borders of the ice kingdom) he slid on his face making him drop down to the ground while lee is laughing hard as he will most likely win due to the speed of his equipment, he also offered them some equipment but they refused as they have their slide that they worked hard to make, Finn and Jake pass after Les and hit him with the slide forcing the poor creature to drop his head again.

Jake said as he felt cold from the snow hitting his face.
Jake shrinks down and hops onto Finn's back as he slides down the hills until he begins to freeze
Finn starts laughing as now he can take the wheel and speed up himself, but the snow was entering his shirt and pants giving him a terrible sensation.

Jake grows and they switch again as they slide through a horde of penguins

Finn said shooting the penguins with ice balls on his way

They fall through a tunnel with penguins on Jake's stomach, and they pop out of the end of the tunnel, the penguins fall off and the duo soars through the air, Lee is ahead of them as he entered the tunnel first

Finn laughed, forgetting the anger he just felt a second ago as his face hit a penguin that snuck to his shirt tickling him with his small wings

Lee is regretting his going ahead as he hears the distant laughter of Finn and Jake and started decreasing his speed as he felt left out...
Back on the ground, Ice King is shoveling snow into a wheelbarrow when Lee comes crashing down, creating a crater

Thought Lee ignoring the ice king, he looked at his eyes as he feels sad and got his eyes all watery while knowing his past and how he became like this.

Finn says stopping near Lee with Jake who was tired and cold so Lee used some fire magic to warm him up, Jake had a grateful expression while looking at Lee's face that was smiling kindly at him.
Fire magic is something that lee has as a basic MP attack from the start, after he used it for the first time it reached LVL max due to instant mastery and he could burn half of the candy kingdom if he unleashed his full power and depleted all of his MP.

Finn decided to ease the situation they are in so they don't panic, in the background, LSP was trying to talk with Lee but Lee was ignoring her because she was nagging him.

*Ice King laughs and does a little dance*

Jake was about to finish talking but Lee pinched his hand.

Screamed Jake in pain while looking at Lee in anger.

Said ice king, he felt that finally, he can make some friends, he unconsciously forgot about the princess's presence.
But then he felt the need to go to the bathroom, he hurriedly went to the bathroom while having a very happy and excited face.

Jake was about to open the lock but ice king entered the scene.
Okay everyone I brought you all a puzzle game to play!
Ice King said while hopping from happiness.
But as he finished talking Jake has already opened the cell lock and Finn jumped kicking the cell door open, also kicking ice king on the head before he could react knocking him unconscious.
While everyone was cheering for Finn and his amazing moves, Lee was staring at ice king stumbled on the cold floor.
'Alone...for hundreds of years...'
He thought with a wry heart, he clenched his fist and promised to help Simon soon.
He put a sandwich near his head and left the castle following everyone.
Everyone was on top of giant Jake as he enlarged himself to carry everyone home.
They laughed and cheered and talked about silly things as some princesses talked about how he kept them there for weeks.
Slime princess reminded Finn of his promise about the whole helping them get married thing, which instantly made Finn drop cold sweat down his back, he felt that what he said was just from the moment and he did not want to deal with that stuff.
He motioned for Lee to help, but Lee ignored him as he was dealing with LSP constantly asking for his number and where he lives, he gave him the ask him to look pointing at Jake with his eyes to which Finn asked Jake for help, he later regretted it.
Jake made a terrible excuse which oddly enough, made him succeed and the slime princess did not want to marry Finn anymore.
After they dropped everyone home they headed home themselves while staring at the sun setting.

Said Finn seeing that Les was being oddly too calm.
Yeah...yeah.
Lee said while staring at the sun, he was sad while looking at ice king, one thought flashed through his mind.
'Will I and up like that someday...when everyone that I love dies.'

Said Jake to Lee, he was sad that he will not eat fancy food tonight, but he was more worried about Lee.

After 2 hours ice king woke up, put his crown on his head again, and looked at his empty surroundings, the quiet room was killing him from boredom and sadness, he was sad that everyone jas left him alone again.
He took the sandwich which was on a plastic plate on the floor, ate it while patting Gunther.
At 9 pm he slept while crying at his miserable life.
Sorry about this chapter ending, just wanted to make everyone understand the situation Ice king is in, he is not some bad guy, he is just a depressed very old man.
Marceline will be introduced in the next chapter.
Lee did not use fire magic to melt the ice prison cell because he did not want his powers to be seen by anyone as words can reach P.B that would make her freak out and think of all horrible scenarios and such.
