Suddenly I heard the grey suit guy call out that he is going to win. He gave a smile and winked at me but right when the bidder was about to confirm it by calling it three times.
A new person emerged out from the crowed and offered a much higher amount.
People around started murmuring and none of them raised a voice to bid higher than the current figure not even the grey suit guy.
The new bidder looked immensely happy and he confirmed the amount and so he won a date with me.
Shit. I will have to be his date. Great!
He came forward and took me along with him outside the garden. A car was waiting for us and he led me inside but he didn't get in, instead the car driver greeted me and said he will take me to a place which is being instructed to him and the car took off away from the event.
I was confused, nervous and a bit curious. I wanted to know what's going on.
