SCARLET'S POV
I wonder where Alex has gone off to. I just left him over there to meet Sera and know what she wanted to show me, only to turn back and see he's gone. Could he have gone outside? No, he couldn't. The entrance is closer to Sera and I. We would have seen him leaving the hall. Maybe he went to the kitchen to check up on the caterers. Taylor is handling that work already. Just pray she doesn't eat everything they prepare before the party starts.
"Is someone missing someone already?" Sera's voice came in.
I navigated my attention to her and hummed with my eyes widened. Didn't grab what she said though.
"So she didn't hear me. That means I'm correct. You are missing Mr Pearce already," Sera said and laughed at me.
I gasped at her. She's laughing at her older sister. Silly girl. I looked at the decorators, as they glanced at us anytime they got the chance to. I pretended not to see them. I focused my attention on Sera and frowned at her.
