SCARLET'S POV
Alex and I got into the room together. I was curious to know what he wanted to tell me that we had to come into the room together. Immediately we stepped in, I turned over to look at him and ask. That's when Alex moved closer to move and locked his lips with mine. I was moved by his moves. It made me really happy though. Alex broke the kiss and looked directly at me.
"What's wrong dear?" I asked him. Noticing the sudden dull mood on his face.
He took hold of my two hands and kissed them. "Dove, I'm sorry," He apologized.
His words touched my heart immediately. "What are you apologizing for Alex? If it's because of the fear Sera and I had when we left you and Maximo alone, then you don't have to be sorry. We're good, trust me," I said, believing that's what he was bothered about.
