SERA'S POV
This is very exciting. I can't really remember when last I felt this excited without thinking about the situation I'm in. Having a lovely sister like Scarlet, a big brother like Mr Pearce, a supportive friend like Lory and...a bodyguard like Maximo is really sweet. Funny that I gave Maximo the title of a bodyguard. Pretty sweet though. He's fit for the role as one. Though I still can't stop thinking about the fact that he's in love with my big sister Scarlet. Truly, Scarlet chose Mr Pearce over him, but his heart still beats for her. I don't know why I feel strange knowing about how he feels for my sister. Why do I feel strange?
"That's that. Everything is set for Little Miss Reeves' birthday party," Lory said excitedly. Grabbing me closer to herself and embracing me.
"Lory! Don't squeeze hard! I don't look like your teddy bear!" I groaned out in between her grip.
