In those days, when the world was separated, the memory of the entire world was wiped off and everyone was given a new identity.
People had to group themselves according to their similarities.
Some of them were superior to others.
They were grouped into four;
The Vampires, who were bloodsuckers, were feared greatly, they took over most of the earth and built great empires.
The Wolves were beasts who could change their form. They fought for power with the Vampires but never won, they lived in the shadows and were rarely seen.
The magic practitioners were witches and wizards. They had no physical strength but were able to read the past and future and perform small tricks. They coexisted peacefully with everyone.
And then the Humans. The worst and powerless of all the clans but the most resourceful. They lived in fear of all the creatures and built tall walls to protect them. They suffered from aging and they could be killed easily.
They wondered what wrong they did in their past that gods punished them so much and made them live in fear of other creatures. They always prayed to the gods to improve their situation.
The gods blessed them abundantly and made sure they rarely suffered from a lack of food or water.
The other Clans became jealous of the human clan and waged a war against them.
The queen of the magicians teamed up with the humans to help protect them, while the wolves signed a treaty with the humans agreeing not to attack their people, instead, they would protect the humans till the end of time. The Vampires had nothing that humans could benefit from. It was now the Vampires against the entire world.
They grew stronger overnight and turned some humans into one of them.
They infiltrated the West of Zordac, which the Magicians lived.
Their queen had just given birth to her baby girl, the successor of the royal power. After the Queen, she was the most powerful. Immediately she was born, all the flowers and crops in the west grew abundantly.
"Lila," she called her maid.
"We may not win against the Vampires, if this child dies, all magic will die. Only her holds the royal power to sustain our race," She told her.
She cried and held her hand, she transferred all her powers to the child.
"Your majesty, you will not be able to fight without your powers," Lila cried.
"I will try," She wiped the eight-year-old's tears.
"Your highness, let us escape together. You will not survive," She cried.
"Take my baby, I have granted you a link with my baby. She will grow once in four hundred years, and by the four hundred years passes, you will leave her in the human realm, then you will die when your work Is accomplished. Make sure you take good care of my child," She was crying.
"I have paused her growth when four hundred years passes, no one will remember the princess of the west, then my daughter will be able to live peacefully," She cried.
"Your Majesty, the Vampires have infiltrated the North Palace, we need to prepare for battle. They are fast and will reach here in no time," The guard panicked.
"There's a secret passage that will lead you outside, take my spell book with you," She place her hand in Lila's head and passed the knowledge of the book.
She kissed her child finally and Lila picked her up.
"Your majesty!" She cried out as she saw the Vampire sink his fangs into the Queen's neck and finally snap her neck.
Lila was too young and she couldn't run fast, she was able to find a teleportation spell that led to the human world.
