Synopsis
Orcs. I never believed them be special no matter the setting. Always the bad guys. So when I was reborn into fantasy land with Orcs as a race I decided to see what they were were from a first-person. Ohhh boy if only I knew.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A New Life

Life as an orc was a hard one. You either were on the several small tribes that doted the continent or in the capital. Most orcs are obligated to visit the capital where their temples exist. No slave is allowed to know the capital unless it has been broken in and been assured of there are no magical tracking devices.

You might think Life in the capital as an orc is great. Well, it's iffy.

You were either born from a slave or orcs that didn't care enough. You are forced to hunt, scavenge and fight for any bit of food you find.

Older orcs beat any welp in their way so welps take from smaller welps.

So here I was about to be "robbed" of my food by a group of Orcs my age.

"Give us that!" oh yeah apparently I was a great target to be "robbed" because I hunt, foresters and gather better than any orc. So naturally, orcs united versus the powerful and mighty lead to these debacles.

I say "robbed" because they never were able to take my food. I beat them all. Alongside being the Largest, meanest orc in the brood gave the others an inferiority complex that they need to beat me.

"Come and claim it!" my fighting words never changed. So they attacked in a group. The first tried to hit me with a haymaker only his feet in the air and his back on the ground.

The second, the only one that looked more orc than the group, tried to grapple me only to find himself flying to Supplex city.

The third tried to backstab me but I knew what to do. He attacked me screaming but I grabbed his head and slammed it into the ground with extreme prejudice.

"Weaklings, this is what the tenth attempt?" I gloated over their broken bodies as they groan in pain.

You have defeated 3 Orcs in 1v3 combat! 900 exp gained!

Ohh yeah, I had a gamer system. It was kinda scary when I died and was forced to pick a race. I must have waited a long time before I said screw it and went for Orc.

Since then the screen showed me my race.

*Un-named Welp*

Level: 20

Title: The Biggest Welp of his Group

HP: 1400/1400

MP: 500/500

Stats:

STR: 35

END: 40

AGI: 30

INT: 25

WIS: 20

LUK: 100

Since the strength stat multiplies with endurance to make my Health and Intelligence multiply with wisdom to make mana you can see why I focused highly on physical stats.

Luck I enjoyed because I gambled with the welps to make some extra coin.

Some orcs keep their kids and give them money for every kill they bring. Some gambled with each other to take the other things from the others. Some older orcs gambled too but I won once making my stat jump from 24 to 100 and it was the first time I lost a fight.

There is also a matter of race. Pureblood orcs are very big and green with tusks and black hair.

I happened to have blood from Half-Elf, and Half-Pureblood orc. Half-Elf had human blood and the orc was half Devil.

Since that was my bloodline I had the former nickname of mutt. And welps loved to try and make me know my place.

They often failed because the second day I woke up I dialled the difficulty from Very-Hard Realistic to Very-Easy Power Fantasy.

Meaning my exp gains tripled, my damage output increased and my damage intake was nullified by x3.

I was a former gamer who didn't play games to have a bad time or a rage-induced stroke. I played to have fun and enjoy the story.

That was the reason I hated games like Dark Souls and the like, that insulted the gamer if he picked an easy difficulty or straight up made you unable to finish the game. Dark souls didn't even give an option.

So when given the chance to pick an easier difficulty for my life Why wouldn't I pick it?

I carried on looting their bodies for loot, I end up finding some mushrooms, fruits and money and walked to my zone.

It wasn't mine truly. It was where I slept and ate.

Since I was a Slave Orphan my meals were what I founded in the wild or stole from vendors in the market.

Sometimes I could visit the temples for the praying done to our God/Creator/Patron. I don't care much about religion but he was a big deal for the orcs.

In Orc society might make right. Blood makes you more or less. And where slavery is encouraged.

Tribes often came and went as I watched them from my place.

One thing is for certain.

This place is fun!

I don't have to wear a mask 24/7. Spend time with empty courtesies. Or just be nice.

I can be rude. I can do what I please if I was strong enough to do it. I don't have to be someone I'm not and ask who is looking at me when I look at a mirror.

I was still only 5 years old so most of the fun stuff was out of my reach. But when I go out of here I can do as I please.
