In ancient times, human & vampire were eternal enemies.
At that time, the world inhabited by human was shrounded in an aura of darkness & transformed human civillzation towards destruction.
In order to keep the peace of the human world, the government made an agreement with the vampires so thet the two races could live peacefully together. The agreement between the human government and the vampire is called a 'curse bond'.
To further strengthen the relationship & agreement, both of rulers have married their sons & daughters as a bond of the agreement.
This bond is an eternal agreement between the two races & the world returns to peace & harmony again.
Vampires are Immortal beings. They need to find a suitable mate & have comparable powers to be by their side.
The chosen couple will be 'marked' & they will be that vampire couple forever. Humans who become vampire couples will have eternal life.
In order to find a suitable mate, the two races have set up a place called the Victorian Academy. From the outside it's looks like a school for the aristocracy but this place is a place to train vampire couple & the school of vampire.
Thousand of years have passed, humans & vampires live peacefully together.
