Winter was imminent, so it was quite chilled at night. The night is deep, the silvery moon is dotted with the dark blue night sky, and the naughty stars are running around her, chasing and playing.

Suddenly door is knocked. Tia are you there need to talk something. Eva opened the door. Her dad Mr. Fred with long pointed nose and with angry face came near to Tia and said. " Tomorrow we are going to meet one of my close family friend so be ready whenever I will call you in your office time. And by the way it's 12 'O'clock, So Happy Birthday to you. by saying this he walked out .
Fred has always been rude to Tia since her childhood. She has always been distinguished and treated inferior from her brother. She did not get any appreciation or complement for whatever she did and kept on being neglected. He would criticize how she dressed and compare her to his elder son.
This was the reason why it was so difficult for Tia to have positive feelings about herself and to believe that if she worked at something, she could succeed. She consistently assumed people's responses toward her would be negative personally and professionally. While her expectations were understandable in light of her childhood experiences, she was able, when pushed, to come up with memories of positive relationships, work experiences, and even good feelings about herself. Nevertheless, these exceptions to what she anticipated did not go very far in allowing her to step back and consider that she was not (in her words) "doomed to fail." And It was clear to her that one day she will definitely come out of this.
Next Morning Tia dressed up for her office, she looks fabulous in blue dress. Had a straight silky hair with beautiful twinkling eyes. She is so pretty but there is no one to appreciate her of how she looks but to criticize for her beauty.
While working in the office, her phone ring. " Tia come to XYZ restaurant close to your office. We all are waiting for you here" It was Tia's dad who called.
Tia got nervous how she could come out in between office working hours, but she managed to finish her work and stepped out her office. The XYZ restaurant was filled with While reaching the restaurant she saw her parents, little sis Eva and Roy with his parents were sitting on the round table.
Tia slowly sit on to the chair next to Eva facing the parents of the boy. Roy's mother she constantly looked at Tia's face and then to her leg. "Why is she looking at me like this" Tia Whispered to Eva. And She started smiling for how the lady was looking at her.
"So this is your elder daughter Tia" his mother questioned. "Yes, she is my elder daughter Tia and she has done bachelors and currently working in an IT firm." Tia's Dad answered.
Roy keep on peeping Tia secretly. Tia didn't know what to say so she kept on smiling as this was her first meeting for marriage.
"Let's order some food" Tia's Dad gave menu card to Roy and to his family. It seems Tia didn't had any choice but to eat whatever they order. Soon waiter arrived with the ordered dishes. Roy's family started to eating like hell. It seems like they have not eaten anything for several days.
For time being Tia looked at Eva and they communicated without saying anything. Soon They all finished the lunch. In between Tia's Dad asked the Roy regarding his Banking Job profession and posting locations. It looks like Tia's Dad is quite impressed with Roy and his behavior.
But Tia was still in dilemma to accept this guy or not. From within she knew this is not that spark which she is looking for.
Shortly, the waiter arrived with the bills. Roy and his family didn't lift the finger to at least pick the bill but instead Tia's Dad Paid the bill. Tia felt this moment quite weird but kept silence. She was expecting Roy should at least come forward.
"Now You and Tia both should talk and understand each other, we are waiting outside the restaurant ". Tia's Dad said to Roy and his family. Every one agreed and in a moment they all left Tia and Roy alone to talk.
Now Tia and Roy were alone in that table. Tia asked to Roy "may I know your name please and do you work in Bank?". The Roy was shocked as she didn't knew his name. "I am Roy and yes I work in bank". Then Tia innocently asked Sam, "You are aware of my name ?". Roy smiled at her and shook his head. Tia said you can ask any question if you want to ask. Roy kept smiling and said "I got all my answers, and I don't have any questions for you". Let's go outside.
Tia was a bit confused what answers he got without asking and they both moved out. It looks Roy really liked Tia's innocent attitude, but Tia was still not satisfied. Everyone was surprised how come so early they finished the talk.
Now Eva took tia on side and said can you see his shoes, it is torned shoes. Eva started to review him from top to bottom and whatever Eva felt for the boy, she told to Tia without hesitation. " I think this boy is not suitable for you" Eva whispered to Tia.
Tia didn't responded instead she kept silence, although Tia also disliked the boy. But Tia's father were very much satisfied from the boy.
Fred greeted them and headed towards their home in white luxury car. While Tia rushed towards her office.
In the evening Tia left for her home early as she was not in mood to work, She is bit nervous what would happen if she denies the Roy's marriage proposal. Tia thought to share her feeling to her mom, but she knew nothing would happen. So many things were running in Tia's mind.
She reached her home, and headed towards her room in upstairs, she noticed her father is taking to someone on phone.…" Yes! that would be good, we also prefer that marriage should happen in winter season." Tia heard these lines of her father.
And she got more nervous, and start to ignore his father for few days as if nothing happened. One day while having the dinner, Tia's father said to her mom we must start buying the assets for marriage as we don't have enough time for Tia's marriage.
