Chapter 7 - Who is Rayhan?

Iffah goes to her room. In the living room there are still papa, mother, and Rayhan who are still talking about Iffah.

"Iffah beautiful right, Rayhan?"

asked Mr. Rohman to make sure.

Rayhan answered while grumpy.

"Honestly, Iffah cuantiiik."

Hearing that, Mr. Rohman also smiled.

A few seconds after that, Bu Aisyah kicked her husband's leg so he wouldn't talk too much about Iffah. It is better if the conversation about Iffah is continued when Iffah has returned to the living room.

"Already Pa. Discuss Iffahnya when she comes back here huh…."

Pak Rohman nodded, accepted his wife's request and the content of the conversation was directed to something else.

Mrs. Aisyah has a feeling for Iffah, maybe Iffah is reluctant to meet her because she doesn't really know Rayhan. Somehow Rayhan got to know his husband, then became curious about Iffah. As a mother, of course she wanted to know more about Rayhan.

"Son Rayhan, if I'm not mistaken, he studied in Malaysia for a long time, then he recently returned to Indonesia. So, where do you live now?"

Mrs. Aisyah asked Rayhan. Rayhan corrected his sitting position, then turned his body to him in respect,

"Rayhan now happens to live in Surabaya's house. So Rayhan's parents have houses in Surabaya, Malang, and Jakarta. Now, because Rayhan's papa and mama are now in Malang, then the house in Surabaya is not occupied, that's why Rayhan is staying here."

"This Rayhan is cool, boo. He became the head of the Islamic hospital in Surabaya."

While Rayhan was enjoying the story, Pak Rohman cut off the conversation and then praised Rayhan for his strengths.

Bu Aisyah just listened because she didn't really understand.

"Actually, it doesn't mean Rayhan owns the hospital, does it!," said Rayhan.

"But the hospital has Rayhan's parents, right?" Pak Rohman again tried to continue the conversation earlier.

"Y-yes that's right, sir. Everything belongs to my parents, Rayhan just graduated, and then Rayhan's papa was entrusted with managing the hospital."

"Well, listen, boo. This Rayhan is cool."

Mr. Rohman again praised Rayhan.

Bu Aisyah also nodded, then smiled too.

"What was that, if I'm not mistaken, Rayhan manages the Islamic hospital, right?"

"Njih, right," said Rayhan politely.

"Good luck. Hopefully it can run smoothly and contribute to goodness for many people," said Mrs. Aisyah.

"Yes ma'am, thank God the hospital has an Islamic system. So it's more comfortable, Rayhan also enjoys this trust hehe."

To be honest, what Bu Aisyah did before to find out about Rayhan's activities, before later if she wanted to share information with her daughter, Iffah.

So far, Mrs. Aisyah is even more curious about Rayhan when she is told about the Islamic-based hospital. Surely Rayhan is a good man.

"If you may know this, Son Rayhan. What program does the hospital have? I'm also curious," asked Mrs. Aisyah with a small laugh.

"Well, in the end, I'm curious too, Mom, haha," said Pak Rohman trying to joke with his wife.

"Hey, what's the matter, Daddy?"

"So let Rayhan tell a lot of stories first. Let's be quiet for a while hehe, how is Rayhan?"

Pak Rohman also smiled after saying that to his wife, while wanting Rayhan to tell Bu Aisyah more about him.

"Bismillah, Rayhan let me tell you..."

"Yes, please, we have given permission," replied Mr. Rohman.

It was seen that Mrs. Aisyah had been silent, preparing to listen.

"Nggih, God willing, Rayhan will tell you more."

Mr. Rayhan and Mrs. Aisyah nodded together.

"Well, God willing, Rayhan will start with the story about the Islamic hospital program that was asked by Mrs. Aisyah. In the hospital that Rayhan manages, thank God now for the doctor to adjust the patient. For example, there is a specialist doctor, specialist doctors will be provided for the men themselves and for the women themselves. The original law is like that, if it is still possible to use the services of a doctor of the same sex, then that is better, and if it is in a very emergency situation, then it is permissible to use the services of a doctor who is not a mahram."

"It's the same in Malaysia, isn't it?" Mrs. Aisha asked.

"Hmm, almost the same as Indonesia. This is Rayhan's knowledge when Rayhan was there. If there are those that are in accordance with pure Islamic law, but there are also public hospitals and general doctors. Sometimes, for example, male doctors also treat male and female patients, so they mix it up."

"But if it's a woman who understands religion, she will definitely avoid seeing a male doctor as long as a female doctor is still around."

"Hehe, that's right, ma'am," Rayhan replied smiling at a response from Mrs. Aisyah. That's a sign that the three of them respond to each other and respond, giving each other attention.

"This, Mrs. Aisyah wants to ask again..." Mrs. Aisyaj seems to be very curious.

"Rayhan hasn't finished his story, ma'am, why is he cut into pieces," protested Pak Rohman.

"It's okay pah. Son Rayhan doesn't have a problem with this either. Right, Ryan?" asked Mrs. Aisha.

Inevitably, Rayhan in the end also nodded his head in agreement.

"God, Papa. Son, Rayhan doesn't mind it."

"Well, it's up to you mother."

Pak Burhan seems to be cranky hehe, but apparently not, because his expression remains relaxed.

"Miss Aisyah asked, huh..."

"Yes ma'am, you can."

"So, even though it's an Islamic hospital, usually it's still in the hospital, they mix with each other, mix, between male and female patients, the waiting seats are usually mixed and not separated. Is it still the same at the hospital that Nak Rayhan manages?"

Mrs. Aisyah asked about this heavy discussion.

Rayhan had time to look at the ceiling of the house, he seemed to also think so that he could give the right answer.

"That's true, ma'am," said Rayhan, "Rayhan just thought about this. So it can't be fully controlled, because when there are too many patients, usually seats are limited and they sometimes don't read directions or instructions, so they still mix things up. Even though the hospital actually has instructions so that male and female patients can occupy their respective seats that have been provided. Likewise with the person who delivered. But indeed the reality on the ground is a bit difficult to argue for hehe."

"Well, that means Mrs. Aisyah, Son Rayhan. It's really difficult, but God willing, by trying to continue by providing more socialization. God willing, I'm sure it will work."

"Ready. Rayhan will try to improve the system at the hospital so that it can be maximized again in accordance with Islamic law. Thank you ma'am for the advice."

Rayhan is seen as a man who is willing to listen and accept input from others.

They had chatted for a few minutes, but Iffah was still not done with her business in the room.

"Iffah, how come you haven't finished in your room, ma'am?" asked Mr. Rohman.

After that they looked at each other.

"Yes, Daddy, it's been a long time, Iffah hasn't been here."

"If that's the case, Mom, check in Iffah's room, I'm afraid that she might even fall asleep, it's a pity that Rayhan is here far away."

Bu Aisyah nodded, then stood up and headed to Iffah's room. Meanwhile, Rayhan and Pak Burhan were still busy chatting and continuing the discussion about the hospital.
