The Last Spartan

The battle against the Athenians had gone on for days and Alpheus was tired. Too tired. Every single other soldier of Sparta had already fallen victim to the Athenian rain of hell except for him and his brother Maron. As Maron falls to an arrow Alpheus becomes a torrent of curses and violent thrusts of his sword as an arrow strikes him as well. He falls to the ground and hears the Athenians cheer as they had just won the battle that had gone on for so long they began questioning whether or not they'd leave victorious. As Alpheus takes his last breath he sees a blue screen appear in his blurred vision. It reads "Conditions met. Commencing reincarnation." He then falls into a deep sleep finally falling victim to fate, dying the death every spartan warrior wishes for.
