I don't know how far I've gotten from where I am, but I know now that it's absolutely stupid to travel long distances aimlessly!
I have neither food nor water! If it went on like this, I would have been eliminated on the first day!
Holding the cold pipe seemed to quench my thirst for a bit.
I felt frustrated looking at the sun on the horizon.
Even a child would know that darkness was certainly the most dangerous of times. So was my situation "We've been through the bad days, now the field is in bad times"?
I was tired, exhausted, and about to die!
Oh, and then there's a stupid zombie hiding behind a tree and watching over me. He was also annoying, but I was too lazy to deal with him. I wanted to conserve my energy.
There were a few clues that I noticed after a few hours here.
1- Zombies don't attack me and choose to stay away
2-Zombies are afraid of me
3-Zombies are afraid of me.
Even though I don't know how this happened, I attributed this to my being a 'vampire'.
You know animal instincts, they sense danger. Since zombies aren't human either, I'm guessing they somehow sensed that I was a vampire.
Otherwise, I had no other explanation.
Anyway, I don't know what it was, but it helped me, that's for sure.
I slowly got up from my leaning position, yawned, and searched for a safe place to spend the night.
It doesn't matter what it is or how it is. I was going to fulfill the mission, I died once and I had no intention of dying again!
I proceeded by collecting broken tree branches from the ground. If I could somehow make a fire, I would.
After touring the whole city, I had my eye on the best place here. A villa, the house of the rich.
While not safe right now, it would be the perfect place after a thorough cleaning.
After looking at the mansion, I realized that it has a structure that I like. If I could find suitable resources here too, no need to change cities, I could spend a year here!
Holding the iron stick, I looked at the bars.
The first goal now was to climb these railings taller than my height!
Clinging to the gaps, I gave my weight and shook it, the iron was solid and didn't even move.
Fixing the iron stick to my clothes, I leaned against the railing with both hands and slowly climbed up.
It was easy to put my feet in thanks to the gaps, once I reached the top the only problem was getting to the other side without touching the pointed tops.
By stepping into the last gap, I became taller than the bars, now it was just enough to pass behind the bars that came to my knee.
I slowly lifted my left foot, giving weight to the place I was holding, and extended it to the other side from the part that came into the gap of the pointed iron.
Now half was outside and the other half was inside. While trying to balance, I couldn't move because of fear.
I gulped as I stared at the ground, could I be a little afraid of heights? That's bad!
I took a deep breath, forcing my attention elsewhere.
My hands are shaking!
I closed my eyes and held my breath for 7 seconds, breathing for 4 seconds. Then I gave it back slowly in 8 seconds. After doing this cycle 3 times, I opened my eyes.
I don't know if it worked psychologically or really, but at least I was better now.
After placing my hands on the iron properly, I brought my other leg inside.
My hands were sweaty, and I held my breath, feeling the sensation of slowly sliding off the iron.
If I fall from here, I will be crippled!!
I tried to get down as fast as I could, wiping my hands on myself one by one.
When I landed, my head was spinning, it was difficult to balance for a while.
I stroked my chest, climbing is hard, it's so hard!
The killing was my only adventure and other than that, I did nothing!
Now my normal life was shaken, which scared me inside.
