Jason had been so on edge ever since his mate had refused to partner with him. She must really be thinking that he was someone whom she could, so whatever she pleased to do, he wouldn't be able to retaliate.
"What should we do now, Alpha Jason?" Sky asked with his hands folded on his chest. Jason heaved a long sigh of distress.
"We have to go with the second option."
"Which is?"
"We will be meeting with Alpha Greenfield, prepare to meet him."
"What! Alpha Greenfield of the Blood rage pack?"
"We have no choice now, Sky."
"But still, I don't think becoming partners with Alpha Greenfield is advisable. I mean, you know how selfish and egotistic he is?"
"Just do as I say, Sky!" Sky kept silent for a while, "I'm on it, Alpha Jason," Sky mumbled as he went out of Jason's office.
