This wasn't what he expected. It was a battle and he expected that she wouldn't shy away from it, but from the look of things, she was becoming a coward. Maybe he had misjudged her and thought she was the type who stood up for herself.
Jason became so restless while in his office. He waited on phone calls, even the calls from the landline of his secretary.
He got snapped out of his state of worry when his office door flew open and his father came into view.
Jason immediately sat up straight, very surprised to see his dad because he had never expected to see him show up in his office without informing him.
