MICHAEL
Michael was at the training ground with Marcus and all the other soldiers. They were having their morning training when Marcus noticed Michael was overly working himself out in training.
When Everyone ran 20 laps, Michael ran 40 laps.
"Hey bro, are you okay?" Michael didn't pay attention to Marcus but continued his laps.
His head was a mess now, he could not get his mind off the she wolf, this was so unlike him, he didn't get to be so stricken by a beauty before, but this woman he met some days ago had awoken things inside him, he never felt before.
He would tire himself out if he had to, so long as he could get his mind of her.
The more Michael ran, the more her thoughts clouded his thinking.
He knew he was in deep trouble, the urge to see her again was just too strong for him.
He can't believe how helpless he was when he almost had sex with her.
Was she some kind of seductress?, he wondered.
But werewolves were never known to be unfaithful to their lovers, they only had such urges with their so-called mates, but why was this woman so wild with him when she knew he was a human.
She must be an unfaithful lover to her mate, Michael thought to himself.
After running a few more laps, he decided to head home and wash up.
"Hey, do you think Michael has been behaving strange lately?".
Marcus asked Eve who also noticed Michael's strange behavior.
"I think he's up to something again" Marcus said, and they all looked at each other wide-eyed.
"Could he be thinking of going back to the werewolf community again!" Eve asked as they both panicked.
Michael laid on his bed, restless, he didn't understand what was happening to him now.
Why does he feel the urge to see her again?
After tossing in bed for what seemed like an eternity, he finally decided to go back into the woods to find her. He needs to settle what's happening between them once and for all.
Michael stood up from his bed and dashed into the woods without checking first if anyone was on his tail.
When he got to the cave, he was expecting to see her, but sadly, he couldn't find her.
He went back to the lake where he had last seen her with her cloths off, but then again she was still not there.
Michael became confused, he wondered where she might have gone to.
He somehow felt some sense of loss, not being able to see her. This isn't right, shouldn't he be happy that she was no longer in his territory? Why does he feel so empty?
Who could she really be and why does she have such mysterious effect on him?
Michael closed his eyes with his hands to his face, he felt so agitated.
"Why are you here, Michael?" Michael got startled at the voice of Marcus, who looked confused upon seeing him.
"Nothing, just came down here for a run" Michael lied.
Marcus didn't look the least convinced at what Michael said.
"And how, Why you are here?" Michael asked, looking at Marcus suspiciously.
Marcus smirked at Michael as he walked down to the lake and sat at the edge of it.
"Well I saw you leaving the house late night and considering you've been acting weird lately, I decided to follow behind you, who knows, you might be trying to go back to the werewolf town."
Michael looked at his cousin in awe. Michael scuffed at what Marcus said.
"Is Eve here too?" Marcus let out hearty laughter,
"Of course not, I know you wouldn't want her to be here, and neither do I."
Marcus was still curious as to know what Michael was up to, he had known Michael for so long to know lying was never the best asset of his.
"So…care explaining why you were at the cave earlier?"
Michael let out a long sigh. His cousin is just too Inquisitive.
"Look I was just having a run okay?"
"Yea right, you were having a run inside a cave like you were searching for what?, maybe diamonds or something. You've got to be smart in lying next time, Michael".
Michael felt even more frustrated, seeing how Marcus wouldn't let him be unless he spilled whatever he was hiding.
He would not be so stupid as to let Marcus know about the she-wolf that just invaded their territory and his heart as well.
"Okay….the thing is, I just had a feeling that werewolves might be lurking around. You know we barely escaped from their rogue community, who knows if they might be out here looking to launch an attack without us knowing"
Michael was able to sat something worth convincing to Marcus as looked confused with a nod of his head.
"Yea you are very right, those wolves could be out here, we have to be meticulous these days"
They both went back home after Michael had successfully convinced Marcus.
MAYA
"So, are you saying you will let me train with you?" Maya asked, looking so very much excited.
Tyron nodded in agreement.
Just as they were discussing, Egon and Clara came in talking so loudly, carrying with them an animal they hunted.
Suddenly, they smelled the presence of an unknown wolf
They immediately shifted to their wolf preparing to attack, Tyron came out quickly when they started growling.
"Hey everyone, it's okay, she's not an enemy.
Meanwhile, Maya's wolf was also on high alert, preparing for an attack too.
Tyron calmed the three angry looking wolves. When Egon and Clara saw their brother Tyron, they knew then that she really wasn't an enemy.
They so much love their big brother, and they know he would never let any harm come to them, he had been doing do for years now, and so they believe whatever he says.
They both shifted back to their human forms and covered themselves up.
Clara stared deep into Maya's eyes, trying to read her thoughts, but she was unable to.
Clara was born as a witch who could read the mind of a werewolf and human alike, but strangely, she could not read Maya's, which terrified her.
She looked at her brother Tyron trying to signal him that she was unable to read Maya's mind, which was a first for her.
There was no she came in contact with that she was unable to read their mind. It has been this way ever since her wolf awakened.
She rather saw Maya as a powerful wolf not just powerful, she felt the powers emitting from her even without Maya's knowledge.
Egon was also looking at Maya in bewilderment, he couldn't help admiring how beautiful Maya looked.
"You are going to stare holes into my face, all of you". Maya said with a smile.
Clara smiled back at Maya, seeing Maya's sweet smile somehow made her relax.
"What's your name?, I'm Clara by the way"
"I'm Egon". He said, smiling sheepishly.
Maya chuckled, seeing how cheerful, and friendly they've become.
"My name's Maya" They both looked at her with so much admiration.
"By the way you look beautiful Maya" That got Egon a knock on the head by Tyron.
"Ouch…what was that for?" Egon retorted and they all laughed happily.
Maya felt so comfortable now, knowing she had finally found a place where she belonged again. She really do hope she wouldn't bring them any danger.
Maya and the three siblings started their training the next day.
Clara and Egon both begged to see Maya's wolf before they started their training, and with so much delight, Maya shifted.
They opened their mouths wide in shock, seeing how big Maya's wolf was.
They had always thought Tryon's wolf was the biggest they've ever seen, but seeing Maya's now, they were shocked beyond measures.
Tyron was also pleased that his siblings liked Maya. It was very rare because, Clara and Egon are the protective kinds of siblings but see how well they blended with Maya made him feel more comfortable around her.
But the strange thing was how Clara could not read Maya's mind, if she could not read Maya's mind, this only means Maya was nor an ordinary wolf, but he wondered why she had to hide her identity, or was she in trouble?
Tyron led the training session for that day. He minds linked Egon to take charge from behind Maya, they wanted to know how fast Maya could be.
Egon attacked, and Maya was able to dodge almost every attack launched at her. This surprised Tyron to see how fast witted Maya's wolf was.
Next it was Tyron's turn, and so he lunged at Maya and when he managed to get hold of her wolf, Maya's wolf quickly tackled him to the ground, but Tyron was so fast, he immediately stood right back on his feet and caught Maya on the leg with his teeth which made her growl, she also quickly turned to face him as she clawed at his shoulders which also made Tyron growl too.
Egon and Clara stood right at the corner, watching them as they battled for dominance.
"Did you see how strong and big Maya's wolf look?" Egon asked his sister.
Clara watched them with so much excitement. This was the first time in a long while she had seen her brother battle with someone who is of equal strength as him.
