Jason knew his mate was disappointed in him. Must especially when he told her about his business deals, he could see the disgust in her eyes, and that hurt him a great deal, because that wasn't the way he wanted her to see him.
"I know you are very disappointed in me, but please don't leave me or get mad at me."
She stared at him, and her gaze seemed to be that of someone who hated him at that very moment.
"I'm angry, yes, very angry, but that doesn't mean I want to leave you. We are mates, and I have made uo my mind to be with you this time. Nothing will change that."
Hearing his mate say those words suddenly made him realise that she had changed a lot from who he knew her to be. He was shocked when he saw her in his pack. He had never thought that he would ever see her in his pack. It was only then he realized that he had promised to see her but didn't keep to his promise as he should, which was very bad of him.
