"Excuse me?" Hirai asked, as if offended.
"I believe you heard me correctly, Hirai," Ian said to him before repeating his question, "Do you believe in ghosts?"
"Of course I do!" "," Hirai answered immediately, to Ian's shock, "what kind of religious person would I be if I didn't believe in ghosts?"
"Are you serious?" Ian asked, surprised.
"Why do you look surprised?" "Are you not also religious?" he asked Ian.
"Yes, but while I'm a religious person, there are some things that are not to be taken literally or believed in," Ian said to Hirai.
"So, let me guess, you don't believe in ghosts?" Hirai asked, and Ian nodded promptly.
"Remind me again what religion you are under?" Hirai jokingly asked Ian.
"The same Dominican religion you fall under," Ian replied.
"So, why do you have trouble believing in ghosts?" Hirai asked, making Ian confused, not knowing where he was coming from nor where he was going.
