Back at the Empire, it wasn't long before the royal carriage carried Nobuharu back to where he came from and brought Kohana, the former senator, back.
Nobuharu had informed the Emperor about Kohana's former position as a senator, the encyclopedic knowledge he had about the Langford Capital City, and how they would likely react to their battle plans.
Now Kohana stood before the Emperor to answer some questions, and when the Emperor saw him, he was quite impressed. The magical power he sensed from him was unparalleled, and it made the Emperor wonder why he even bothered following Nobuharu.
He had all the power he needed to start an empire in rivalry against Zion, and if given the right level of followers, he would pose a threat to Magus. But for some reason, he had submitted himself to Nobuharu, even though it could have been rightly considered derogatory to do so.
