Kayla's POV
It has already been two months since I left home and I was doing perfectly fine but my wolf wasn't.
I was going out of control in class one day and Arya almost saw me.
My eyes turned blue, my normal eye color is Grey.
"Are you okay," Arya asked
I closed my eyes for a while and after I gained control I opened them and looked at her assuringly.
"I am fine, Arya. Just having headaches, "I lied.
"Why don't you go home and rest for today", she asked.
"I'll be ok and I can't miss today's practical", I told her.
During these months Arya has been very supportive and I couldn't thank her enough.
Even when she doesn't know what's going on, she always tries to cheer me up.
"I heard you on the phone this morning, what's going on, "I asked her.
"While my father sold one of our biggest hotels to an elite family. He didn't even inform me. I was mad at him and it cost us a little disagreement," she sighed.
"Is that why you're angry?"I laughed.
"it's not funny, I went there to hang out earlier and I was disrespected. Only for them to tell me that I'll be arrested and my father doesn't own the hotel anymore," She sighed again.
"Who would dare arrest Arya Darven, I would kill that person," I laughed.
After classes, I went home. Arya was the type that liked staying late and I couldn't even shift because she could come home any time.
"can't you stay in a bit more, "I asked my wolf?
' it's been two months and I haven't been set free, I am losing control ' she said in my head.
"And you'll put us all in trouble", I said.
And unfortunately, I had to go into heat.
I am so frustrated, I haven't slept with anyone yet and it makes it worst.
I won't be able to attend classes because all the wolves will notice that I've gone into heat.
Arya came back at midnight drunk and I could barely control myself.
I had to shift maybe it will quicken the heat period.
I put Arya in bed and ran to the nearest forest. I was endangering myself and if anyone would have seen me, I'll be dead.
My wolf didn't waste time, I shifted and went for a run.
I was still sane enough and made sure I stayed hidden.
I heard a twig break and I was sure it wasn't me.
Jason's POV
It was already midnight and Carson Mind linked me.
"I saw a wolf that doesn't have our pack's scent. She's not a member of our pack and she doesn't even have a scent. Is that even possible?" he asked.
"It means the wolf is skilled and knows something that hides scent, "I replied.
"It's possible that she's a rogue and has come to make trouble, she heard my footsteps and ran off. I'll report to the Alpha," he said.
"Don't create any attention, try and see if you can follow her and Rouge do not dare to enter our territory," I said.
" Jason, I think...," he wanted to protest.
"I am your Alpha and you should answer to only me as my beta. Don't tell anyone, maybe she doesn't want to make trouble. Let her be, she'll leave since she's been seen," I said.
"Yes," he responded and cut off the link.
I was in the middle of a business meeting and Carson interrupted me like that, I know he always wanted the Pack's safety but the rouge wasn't making trouble.
"Miss Arya Daven Darcy wants a business meeting, she wants to buy shares in the company.," my manager told me.
"We don't work with humans and she should forget about the deal, "I told my manager.
"She didn't even know that the building has been sold, she came to cause trouble," my manager spoke.
"Tell Mr. Daven Darcy that he should keep his daughter away from my property or I'll take legal actions," I said, my phone rang.
It was my mother, I haven't been home in ages. I dismissed them.
"Hi, mum. How are you doing?"I smiled.
"I'm not fine, you've forgotten about your mother, my little pup doesn't even care about her mother anymore," she whined.
I laughed.
"I haven't been a pup for decades now, "I told her.
"Will you be coming home for your birthday?" she asked me.
My birthday, I forgot about it. I was too busy at work to remember it.
"Mum, I'll be very busy that day," I said.
I didn't want to go to the packhouse just yet, I missed home no doubts but going to the packhouse meant more responsibilities and I didn't need that.
"Ok, it's fine. Take good care of yourself and greet Carson for me too," she said in a sad tone.
I didn't want to make mother sad, and I also didn't want to go back home.
"Yes mother, I will, "I answered and turned off the phone.
