The latter was frozen ever so slightly for a split second. Then, he suddenly unleashed his Star Life Halo in the radius around him, concentrating the effect on the few body tissues left of Luna.
However regenerating an entire body from just the split parts was a pipe dream. If anything, there seemed to be an energy compatibility factor as those body tissues abruptly disintegrated upon contact.
