Kong Xiang started, "What is it?"
Li Luo moved closer and squinted as she observed an anomaly on Kong Xiang's lower chin.
"Wait a minute. Aren't these beards I'm seeing?" She suddenly laughed. "Xiang'er, you're actually growing beards. Finally."
"Hey," Kong Xiang felt a little embarrassed. "What do you mean by 'finally?' I could have grown beards anytime I wanted to in the past."
Li Luo giggled as Kong Xiang gingerly touched his chin to feel the little tufts of hair there.
"Of course you could," she said humourously. "Whatever anomaly Earth is performing, I guess we should thank it for pushing you out of your puberty era."
Kong Xiang ignored the playful jab. His original body had actually remained at the bone age of seventeen for the past centuries he was in the Primal Plane and Sango's Universe.
