"What lectures?" Li Luo laughed, "You think I care about them right now?"
"Alright then," Kong Xiang said resignedly. "Just ask for permission or something before you leave though. Remember the timeline—you mustn't get fired or something."
"That's not how it works, but fine, I'll take note," Li Luo rolled her eyes.
"Oh, one more thing," Kong Xiang suddenly said.
"What?"
"Can you bring the tome with you."
"Sure thing, I will," Li Luo said.
Li Luo felt the tether loosen as Kong Xiang cut off the karmic transference link.
"Urrgh, poser," Li Luo thought humorously. "He could just have used the telephone, no?"
However, it crossed Li Luo's mind that the karmic information transference would be a 'big-hit' information technology if it could be implemented here on Earth.
