The trigger this name wasn't actually the mentioned Pagoda Forest but something else.
Mo Nian left the big travel bag in the tour bus but carried with him a smaller backpack when he alighted. Unintentionally, Kong Xiang's hand just bruised against the backpack and he glimpsed the content inside.
In the main space, there was actually a silver sheath, inside which was an exquisitely crafted dagger.
Kong Xiang immediately became wary of Mo Nian himself. Why would he have an hidden weapon on him? And strangely enough, it escaped the detection of the anti-weapon security surveillance at the entrance.
Some of the tourists chattered away while Su Xin expanded her guide for the others interested in her history lessons. Kong Xiang hesitated but moved closer to Mo Nian who was listening with rapt attention.
He might as well make plans to actually steal the dagger, just in case.
