Light suddenly engulfed the figures of the five seeded contestants. Their bodies stilled, and their consciousnesses were transported to a mystical space.
The Grand Convergence Stage was now testing their qualifications as the seeded contestants of the five element constellations. While they had it easy in the elimination stages before, they had to face their own trials here.
The process was simple. The combat style and prowess of all of the qualifying competitors, including themselves, were ultimately compiled and transformed into their corresponding phantom battle spirits, eighty one of them in total. Now, the five seeded competitors had to engage in combat with each one of them in a mythical space with their consciousnesses. As long as they defeated each phantom battle spirit and moved on to the next one, they would automatically qualify for the previous rank and earn that spot.
