Disbelief spread over the eyes of everyone present. No one expected Jake to bypass the third and fourth floors directly and step onto the fifth. He had already left the rest on the third floor.
" Is that even allowed?" Right Guardian asked.
"The stairs have their level of sentience and rules. Since it allowed him to move forward, he must have satisfied some requirement that allowed him to bypass the previous floors." Central Guardian said.
"He surprises me at every turn of this festival." Left Guardian said.
"He does," the Strategist said. The other three looked at him with surprise-filled eyes. He wasn't someone who would praise someone easily. Jake must have done something praiseworthy,
"What are you all looking at?"
"It is surprising to see you praising someone other than your student. It surprised me when you spoke about Caesar, and it continues to do so." Central Guardian said. The other two nodded their heads in agreement.
