Jake was carrying a sword in his hands. He had finally realised the secret of infusing weapons with his energy. He had to think of the blade as an extension of his hand, but rather than pushing energy through it, he had to encapsulate it with energy. The expenditure increased due to this application, but so did the power contained with every single one of Jake's attacks.
