"Did you say Demonic Cult? How can you be sure that they were from the demonic cult?" Robert was nervous.
"Because of the energy he radiated and the smoke bomb he heard. It is one of the Demonic Cult's prime inventions, which has helped them escape so many times, even when S-rankers are raiding their base. It is a special kind of powder which absorbs energy, and hence you can't use energy itself to detect your enemies, making it impossible for you to track them within the smoke." Alan said.
All of them looked shocked when they heard this.
"As I said, why was the demonic cult going after you? As far as I know, your identity has never been revealed due to the covertness of your mission. How did they find out about you? How did they think to attack you here?" Alan had a lot of questions which were left unanswered.
