The attack was so powerful that it had cursed an entire side of rib bones and Paul was vomitting a lot of blood. His lower abdomen was pierced through bybthe spear and blood was flowing out at a fast pace.
Jake on the other hand was kneeling on the ground and vomitting blood. The last attack took a huge toll on his body as he used so many things at the same time while being deficient in energy. Jake hoped that the last attack would have dealt with the enemy but his heart knew that an A-rank hunter wouldn't go down like that.
As expected, Paul rose to his feet. His face was pale. He was heavily injured though. His internal organs had been crushed and multiple rib fractures combined with broken arm and shoulder bone crack. That combined with the amount of blood flowing out and he didn't have much time to fight. He needed to end this. Jake on the other hand was nearing exhaustion, both physically and in terms of energy.
