Blood sprayed out like a fountain off the two pieces of the dead corpse. Either of Mike's eyes showed the shock he experienced while being forcefully split into two halves. Jake simply raised his sword and raised his other hand. Mike's suit ripped off his body and flew into his hands. He then swiped the blood off the blade edge and body.
"Great blade, isn't this." Jake said while looking at Reich. There was no visible presence of the mocking expression he showed earlier. He was terrified of the situation. In a matter of seconds both his comrades were mercilessly killed without even being able to react to the situation at all. He didn't have Mike's strength or Alyssa's defense. He was just some kind of elemental power user.
