" Join me." Jake heard the two words. Dorothy's expression was completely calm and she had a confident smile on her face. Jake looked at her for some time before lifting his watch and tapping the emergency button. He then looked back at her and raised her middle finger.
"Fuck you." Jake said in a normal voice.
Suddenly two figures appeared beside him l, and pinned him on the ground. One of them snatched the watch from his ahnds, but it was too late. The emergency signal was sent and the watch was recording the conversation and relaying it somewhere.
"This bastards." One of the A-rank hunters who pinned Jake down threw the watch at Dorothy who caught it mid-air. She looked at it before looking back at Jake with a displeased expression.
"You have got some guts boy. To think you should dare to record a private meeting and even reject my offer in such a situation. I guess the rumours about you being crazy were true." Dorothy said.
