"We shall see about that," Jake said as he bowed in thanks to Alan and left the training grounds to prepare for the next mission. During his training and all the manuals he had received about the dungeon and crack exploration, one thing he knew about was that the second one was way more dangerous and filled with variables which could cost one their life.
While dungeons were just a manifestation of other world beings on earth, a crack was an entirely different case. It is the opposite of the dungeon. While dungeons allow monsters of other worlds to step into the earth, crack allows people of earth to step into the realm of monsters.
At first, crack exploration wasn't a viable option as hunters began to die in large quantities from entering them. Slowly, as the overall prowess of the hunters in the world increased, crack exploration began to commence at full-fledged speed and they became the source of resources for our planet.
