"I hope you have rested well." Elise greeted Jake when he entered.
"I tried my best," Jake replied.
"Good. Let us go, it is finally time for you to show the result of your training." Elise said as the duo entered the training field. Four people were present in the field and all four were familiar faces to Jake.
Alan, Artemis, Robert and Lance were discussing something with Lance looking pretty agitated. When the duo entered, their discussion was interrupted and Lance began to walk toward Jake with an irritated look.
"I heard you managed to get to rank-c, newbie," Lance said.
"I did," Jake replied in a monotonous tone.
"That is quite the arrogant tone you have there. Did you think you achieved something impossible?" Lance asked.
"No. I just did what I was supposed to do." Jake said with a smile.
"You.." Lance was about to retort when Alan interfered.
